I used to ignore it, then later years, I used to pay attention to it and wonder why has this pitch been sent to me ? I don’t think I get it anymore or rarely do in my mid 40’s…I will keep an ear out for it now :-)

    Is remaining neutral the same as bliss?
    It is so very difficult to think of it as bliss in the face of experienced hate and cruelty.
    Remembering the examples Guru Arjan Dev Ji and all the Shaheedies points the way, understood; is it necessary to reframe and accept blazing hate as part of the orchestra of “just is” ?
    Are we then to see the path as a walk on the red carpet, instead of a hike on a path pebbled with broken glass? 🙏🏼❤️🙏🏼
    My mind wants to fight to improve or change the way things are towards people who are treated as second class, and the earth which sustains us all. Accepting and not fighting back when I can is very difficult for me.
    How to walk in bliss, neutrality, and know if, or when to take action is the recurring theme for me.

    • @roxykaur9034
      @roxykaur9034 Před 2 lety

      I can relate to your question ji. From what I have learned from Veer Ji’s videos (when bad things happen) is some of us are ok with what’s happening and others are wanting to fight back. It is what it is - some of us wanting to fight back for the greater good is our hukam. But be careful as that can generate ego. We begin to think we are better as we are fighting for others’ rights or whatever it may be.

    • @roxykaur9034
      @roxykaur9034 Před 2 lety

      And yes it is sooo painful to watch the cruelty around you and accept but I keep reminding myself that Guru Sahibaans went through similar situations that’s why they fought back against injustice. At the end this is Wahegurus play. We start the change with ourselves with His Grace, get involved where we can make a difference and situations out of our control is where Hukam/Acceptance comes into play. Guru Granth Sahib Ji is so practical. Each and everything is described in there🙏

    That music part I disagree with. What he is saying is to listen to good not bad (follow the teachings). I think a lot of Sikhs want to make our religion like Islam... it's far from it. We are spiritual beings. Nothing like strict rules. Love guru Ji! Thanks for teaching gurus Vanni

    Really like how you tied up many different aspects. I still think one should not try to do be equal to highly blissed people as it will lead to regrets like i shouldn't have said this, i should have/haven't... So circle back to ego with lowliness (also negative). Probably that's why humility and prayer is so necessary.

      Hinduism is not a religion, its related to a geographical location. The word "Hinduism" being used as an organized religion was something created by British later on. It doesn't make sense to say Sikhi and Hinduism are being mixed up. India had many enlightened beings (Gurus, Bhagats, Rishis, etc) and many spiritual pathways (yoga, bhagti, seva, etc) and all of them are amazing in their own ways. Now to understand what a Sikh is, go to ang 305, line 25 of Guru Granth Sahib Ji.

    • @harpreetldh
      @harpreetldh Před rokem

      Sadguru (Jaggi Vasudev) is following Gurbani (Sikhism) 100% only. But he is presenting it as a extract of Hinduism like food, time, day which is obviously not correct. Also Sri Sri Ravi Shanker is also doing the same. About 99% of spiritual Gurus in India Brahmkumaris, RSSB, Nirankaris, Naamdharis & almost every Guru in India. You name it & they are doing it
