- A hard album to do justice. Tried really hard to make everything sound as best it could but there are admittedly some parts that are rough (intro chords for have a cigar and some big chords in SOYCD part 7).

"Shine on Gay Bowser" is the best possible title you could've come up for that track and you actually did it, amazing.

This was the 9th album by Red Mario. The album is a tribute to Bowser who was kicked out due to kidnapping the princess too much and is also a jab at the music label, 1-Up Records. Have A 1-UP was released as a single. The album had mixed reviews at release date but has had more popularity in the few years. Mario quit the band after The Final Mushroom and is now on the This Is Not A Red Shell tour.
It looks like I'm singing Shine on you Gay Bowser for the rest of my days now.
I have the original on vinyl. Got it from my grandfather's collection after he passed. Clicking on this video reminded me of him. Thank you.

Bruh you some how managed to bring back the experience of listening to opener of Shine On You Crazy Diamond for the first time, instant tears of overwhelmed beauty.
I remember less than two months ago I was sitting in my kitchen telling my brother how surprised I was that there wasn't really any Super Mario 64 + Pink Floyd videos and now I find this! My prayers have been heard, this is absolutely awesome!

Bravo. This is a high watermark for the meme format, though I think you have some extra crunch (half steps) in SOGB 6-9 during the chord stabs that I don't recall from the original recording.

Listened to it I was moved to tears and just…so many goosebumps. From beginning to end, it’s a masterpiece. Super underrated too, so none of the songs, except “wish you were here” are overplayed.
Les Claypool's version with Primus of Have a Cigar is pretty good too.
How is it controversial? Do you think there is any album that can possibly top WYWH? Personally the only other album that was close to dethrone it was Radiohead's Kid A, but although it's got Motion Picture Soundtrack and other masterpieces, it still don't got Shine On.
This was so much better than I thought it could be. This is one of the best pieces of art from this century.
