I shortened the iconic "Echoes" by Pink Floyd to not include the overly long middle sequence that may turn people off. I made it more radio-edit-ish.
I like how people are trying to make excuses for not listening to the long version. That's fine, you don't HAVE to love everything that your favorite band makes.

I like the long song, but I still think that the best part is the first six minutes, after that it kinda drags and bores me. From a "long song" stand point shine on and atom are far better

Remember a Time.... Took two hits of purple haze lsd back in the mid 90's. I introduced my friend to this song. Later ....much later he wanted to venture to the shops to buy sweets and chocolate . A winter storm had hit hard. It was a crazy snow storm. And the terrain was Baha at that time. I turned and looked at him. He said yes I know, it's that song.
