I like the finality of the stage card ending the combat move phase and now it’s time to roll dice. I hear all the time after the combat phase begins and dice have been rolled, “I meant to attack that territory”.
I’ve watched over 100 hours of Axis & Allie’s strategy videos. This is very well done because you are explaining every single strategy. I’m really looking forward to see how this turns out. I might have bought 3 tanks for UK pacific because I’m a never save your money guy. However, I can see why you wouldn’t do that too. I always have eyelashes on my game board too!
Hey YG, thanks for your tremendous efforts for the community! Can’t imagine how many hours you spend on your videos series and playtesting. Just wanted to leave a comment here about your videos. G1 was already an inspiration for me. Really wanted to see where the 3 fighters leads us to. Also interesting to see your buys on UKPacific1. My initial thought was to buy capital ships like a Carrier + destroyer for example. I also moved everything from Calcutta towards Yunnan to assist the Chinese army. Really appreciate the input you gave me. Thanks 🙏
Hey YG, can you explain this bonus for UKP? Is it one unit on any island? or on all of them? ''The United Kingdom Pacific has at least 1 land unit on Sumatra, Java, Celebes, and/or Dutch New Guinea (must be at war with Japan)''
Hey Young Grasshopper, it appears to me that the this new tournament edition has made the Pacific side of the board easier for the Allies. Pearl Harbor is no longer an objective for the Axis .Is it not true that taking Hawaii for Japan is no longer a crucial victory move? Even though it is worth 5 IPCs it no longer triggers victory on the pacific side. A smart US player could just focus on holding on to Sydney which lets UK pacific focus all of their manpower on Calcutta. Since Hawaii is no longer a victory objective. The U.S. only needs to protect Sydney instead of both Sydney and Pearl Harbor. I know they also need to protect San Francisco but it's pretty easy to see that coming and stop it with a ten stack of infantry.
I guess UK pacific definitely loses the ability to stack up infantry because of the minor factory the first turn and they lose the ability to take the money islands, so I guess it is somewhat balanced by that

Ha ha. So do I.
It's enjoyable to hear you address comments from the previous video. Added anticipation for sure.
Hey YG, I like how you reply to comments from previous Video. Thank you for the interaction with viewers.

I agree Bill, the explanation of multiple strategies that may occur is interesting.
👍

Around 42:20 when you put your build on you had two fighters in W. Germany and took one off, put 3 chips under instead of 4.
For your G1 video^
@@grahammartin8773 Nice call... thanks.
@@TheCliffsideBunker No problem 😉
i have 3 players in Buffalo NY when border opens lets go!!
Think id rather go for some planes as they are more versatile, the all army purchases are very defensive
