  • We take two 800cc naked bikes and put them head to head in the city, the open road, on the highway and also on the track. Which comes out on top?

    Love the look on the MV looks very high end, but i think the Z800 will cost you lesson parts and service on the long run. Also the MV gotten very bad reviews on the Europe bike shows. All and all if i had to choose i would take the Z800, i have the GSR600 which is a naked bike, i have no issues with wind over 140 besides it doing more than speed limit anyway. Naked bikes is getting more popular, but slowly.

    There is a long discussion as to why exactly the throttle response is laggy and abrupt at times.
    Check the product page under UPGRADE on MV's site for latest version.
    The new F range update is expected on 10 September for F3, F4 and F4 RR.
    Hopefully the B3 will be updated as well (or soon afterwards)

    For practical use Z800, but who needs to worry about that when you can show of with a MV. I like how at 3:54 mark how the guy who should be picking up trash just throws it back into the bushes. Guess it was to big or heavy to carry ;-)

      Aswell as other (less adjustable) dampers. And only 2-Piston brakecylinders in the front. The non-E version has three pistons.
      Kawasaki released the E-Version because of new laws in the EU wich says, that if you are under the age of 24 (or have less than 2 years of driving experience while being under 24yrs old), you must drive the bike throttled to 35kW/48hp.
      In some regions in the EU you must not drive a bike wich has more than twice the power when it is not throttled anymore.
      Means 95hp / 2 = 47,5hp = You are allowed to drive everywhere you want.
      If you have the non-E wich has 113hp: 113 / 2 = 56hp = You have more than twice the power of which you had, when your bike is throttled, so you can only drive in germany, but not elsewhere in the EU, like italy, danmark...
      Thtats why Kawasaki built the z800e. It's just a bike for EU laws.

      @MrLitschii Před 10 lety

      Crophixx thank you but i know the facts cause I own a e-version i just didn't want to go in detail too much ;) and you are allowed to drive this bike everywhere!! only the A2 drivinglicense is limited to a few countries

    Z800 is everything it's supposed to be, it's not trying to be a supersport, it's a street fighter. Gearing and seat position is great for around town, it was way ahead on everything realistic. At the track is pointless, why would you even have that in the comparison? California Superbike School have S1000RR's to hire, if you want a track bike either buy one or hire it on the day.

    • @HunGerMovies

      Yes but the build quality is less. All MV Agusta bikes are hand built and comparing these two bikes is like comparing a Ferrari with an Audi.

    • @kledder2
      @kledder2 Před 10 lety +4

      sogmund
      How do you know the build quality is less? It doesn't matter if it's hand build or done by a robot.

    • @sogatt
      @sogatt Před 10 lety +1

      kledder2 Why wouldn't it matter? Do you think the Lamborghini cars would be better if it was built by machine? I highly doubt that. The MV Agusta is way more exclusive than any other brand on the market as I said, why is it so hard to understand?

    • @sogatt
      @sogatt Před 10 lety

      kledder2 Worth mentioning is that I don't like any other bike more than another but MW Agusta is defenitely someting else than Suzuki, Yamaha, Kawasaki etc. no matter how much the other bikes costs. If you have the opportunity to see one for yourself you'll understand what I'm talking about.

    • @kledder2
      @kledder2 Před 10 lety

      How it's installed doesn't effect performance as long as it's installed right. And both humans and robots can do that right. Exclusivity doesn't effect performance so it's irrelevant to your argument in your first reply. Both Kawasaki and Agusta have good build quality but the are for a total different experience. To describe the difference I would rather say they have a different design rather than speaking of build quality.
