It is the 500F model not 500L, but some details are added from 500L such rib interior upholstery, lower interior door handles, smaller front Fiat emblem on the nose, chrome trim on front and rear windshield gaskets and it looks more elegant with this. Only things to complete 500L version would be front dash black plastic cover with trapeze gauge cluster with fuel gauge, fuel gauge potentiometer sensor in fuel tank, different wiring harness connectors for gauge cluster, front and rear chrome bull bars on bumpers.

Gorgeous fiat 500, even thought is not an "L" series, cause the fiat 500 L have a different squared speedometer. Anyway Italy is full of these legendary little cars, moreover there are lots of shops where you can tune your engine for more than 65hp. With that weight is a little pocket rocket.

So it's a 500L, but theirs is missing the bar in front of the bumpers
This is actually the 500F, you can tell from the body coloured dash at 6:37 . The 500L has a leather-textured dash, rectangular speedometer and a fuel gauge indicator. So my best guess is that some parts (including the badge) have been mismatched to restore the car.

For someone who is a stickler for keeping things original Drew must have been on the expensive drugs for this episode, change the colour from white to black, fitted alloys and wanted to fit a ducati motorbike engine!! They have ruined an original 500, these mods are okay if he suggests them, but if Paul suggests any mods Drew is totally against them.....
I wish they made a programme showing all the car owners who have sent drew packing after the insulting offers he makes....
My first thoughts are whats Happened to Chris Evans since leaving Top gear he looks shorter & fatter his accent has changed too .. On a serious note Just thinking out aloud in the 2020s why cant the likes of Fiat with the 500 , BMW with the Mini , ,Citroen with the 2cv and VW with the beetle make a modern day replica of all of the above? the tech must be there to pass the 21st century safety tests as with most small cars like the Smart and to give the performance as well.
Thou I own a modern 500 it share little resemblance to the original .

This Fiat is a 1971 500F model. I know because I used to own this very car.
