- A last minute startfest for 2017. Unfortunately it was so cold that I had some real trouble starting the cars and I didn't get to most of them. I think I'll do the next one in the summertime.

Love the old cars ..Grew up in the Snowbelt in Northeast Ohio back in the 60's and 70's .moved to Tampa Bay FL back in 82..Forgot how hard it was to get those old carb engines started in the Cold
5:29 "Safety Sentinel", its like a Master Caution in an airplane lol
I do believe you could stand at least one of the Walmart $50 batteries, I love those.
Fleet Farm has some good ones too.
I just did an old start cold start on my 84 Thunderbird, 302ci hasn't been started since June/July 2015, unfortunately my VW Golf blew a head gasket and the Thunderturd was my only option, battery and a shot of Quick Start if fired right up. All I need now is tires and I'll be driving that pig again.
Love that Olds ..Mom and Dad had a 1966 Oldsmobile Starfire back in the 70"s ..Bought it from a kid that was going off to College .He had a 455 Wildcat 4 barrel dropped in it ..That car hauled. Ass ..He sold it to my parents. For $200.00
Cool a little too cool lol. Happy New Year. :)
On cars with a computer, get a Actron CP9690 code tester. It checks live, record, emissions readiness test, ABS, SRS, it can turn off check engine lights, it can turn off oil lights, it can check transmission codes, it can activate solenoids and relays, and MORE!
I love them old ltd crown victorias I had an 87 and I miss it!
00:23 .. dang that truck been needing a dash clean and Armour All treatment.
It's nice how much nicer the Crown Vic looks with the new white wall tires really looks good with those much better than Black Walls?
Happy New Year!!!
Finnaly, a startfest 2017!
So nice.
Time for some Optimas!
You need to get you a good jump starter and get rid of those old batteries. They're a whole lot lighter too.
I think the 2001 Buick is out of gas or if the fuel pump died on it.
that and the oil is probably sludge at -8F thats easily -25c
Where did you find such a beautiful classic Oldsmobile
AAHH,you missed my favorite ,,the Falcon!!
Nice vid. 😎
Yes! Startfest17! Which Buick was by the house? Is the one out back the old beater?
I think I caught the Buick bug from you.. I have my '04 w/ 107k.. Looking at a '00 w/135k for $1400 firm..
and a gorgeous '02 Park Ave w/ 106k..he cant get $2900 for.. this would be the keeper..
Cold here too.. 4deg in AM.. Happy New Year,, Ch
You think you can do more vlog stile videos?
Damn, that's REALLY hot!!!
The fuel sending unit commonly fail on the buick century it might be showing gas but not have any
Yeah I don't think any of mine work. On the ones I drive I just keep track of the mileage.
Check the codes on those cars and write down what they need. Bring the good cars up to the house. Replace old batteries.
You probably flooded the Olds, that's why it wouldn't start. They don't like when you just keep pumping and pumping like that. If you pump it once or twice and it won't start, try holding your foot all the way down on the throttle. It may rev when it starts, but as long as it already has oil pressure, it should be fine.
very high mileage vehicles hate to start in cold weather due to low compression and worn out cams!
06:52 it's not fuel injected it's not electronic that's all you have to do let the key go crank it again when you're ready.
I get a kick out of these Yahoo's with old carbureted cars that turn the thing ignition completely off and turn the key back on again. there's no electric fuel pump there's nothing at all if the car doesn't start the first time just let the key go grab it again and twist..
Hey Brent glad to see you doing something again tell us what's going on with the banana I haven't seen anything on here recently with her everything is six and seven years ago are you to not hanging out update your fans please
That newer Oldsmobile would've pissed me the F off. Like come on you sum bitch, you're newer and fuel injected! Good to see ya back man.
I would to buy one of his cars as a project.
what is that Safety sentinal thing on dash for?
Headlight dimmer.
dude why is the old Oldsmobile out in the snow? don't you worry about rust?
Not really. As long as I keep it off the road and out of the salt it won't rust too much.
Pour gas down the carburetors and don't burn up the starters.
I was cringing too.
Can you depend on your Buick today? Guess not! Lol if it was a daily, it would have started. They don't like to sit.
What year is the green car?
Green Granada is a 1982, green buick is a 1994.
It can't be a 82 it looks like it was built in the 60s
Whats that olds got in her for a motor?
394
394
A 572 Bigblock .....I mean a 394
☺😎🎄🎂🎁
you need to hire a cleaning person
First view sweet 🤘
You haven't bought a battery in 10 years! You do know modern batteries have a life span of 5 years on average right?
Those old cars defently don’t sound good maybe because it’s old or it’s the car
It's cold as shit, and carbureted cars run a little funny when they're cold like that. Give it fifteen minutes or so to reach operating temperature and it'll sound better.
Source: I daily drove a classic Olds for two years, and it did the same thing, minus the trouble cranking, since it was (and still is) garage stored.
Cables are dead
