When I was a kid in the late 80s I went for a drive with our local priest to have Sunday lunch with everyone, and he had a 88 5.0 crown Vic,..this 70 something old man scared the shit out of me he drove like a maniac,...i remember that every time I see one now. I remember his 1st to 2nd shift chirping the back wheels,..automatic of course but I was impressed.
The M.I.B special Crown Vic sounds like a boss.

pessimism056 bullshit... I have had a few with 3800 sickness.... the hard parts are good.... but they eat coil packs, modules, intake manifold, Crank sensors, even seen lots of bad superchargers, and don't let me forget series one timing chain can gears
John Hull I agree I hate the 3800 if I could chose it would be the 3.1 v6 or the 3.4 never the 3800 I just hate how they run and everything what I usually always see is there either on last leg or runs like shit or trans is going or just needs some kind of work done or the engine is just locked up like what my nabor has rn so I wouldn't ever have that type of vehicle or any if it comes with the 3800 v6 supercharged or not

Why don't you put collector plates on the old cars you drive? $50 for a lifetime plate
+Sleeper Iroc I might do that for some but I would still need to have insurance on them to drive them.
+LT4 IROC-Z Collector plates limit what you can do with the car, you can only drive to and from shows and parades. If a cop sees you going for pleasure drives, in some cases he can ticket you if he wants to be a dick. Personally, I'd stick with just getting a regular plate and drive whenever I want to and however many miles.
Josh Nixon Depends on the state, in Minnesota the cops don't bother you. The law is very vague, it just says not to be used for transportation purposes, which mean pleasure driving only. I put collector plates on my camaro a year ago and have never been bothered.
LT4 IROC-Z True, but I had a buddy who DID get ticketed for driving his 1953 Pontiac one day, of course it was the end of the month so the cop was just looking to up his quota. Honestly, If you have collector insurance, but regular registration, you're totally fine. The cops are nitpicky in North Carolina.
