I have the same tent except in orange I had it out for several outings last spring and over the summer I absolutely love the setup and breakdown of the tent I’m an old guy with mobility issues and I can set it up and take it down myself
Thanks for the review. I've been lookin' at this tent for nearly 3 years now, so it was not an impulse by when I finally pulled the trigger the other day and bought it. Look forward to using it in a few weeks, Lord willin'.
You did an excellent review...this is about the 15th I've watched....well explained and demonstrated.. I liked ,subscribed and am buying this tent....thankyou
If you have your setup in a sealed truck bed, SUV, or trailer it’s super fast to leave it outside of the bag and leave the sleeping pad/bags/etc partially full. Pop it up, throw bedding in, done. Cheers.

We’ve been comfortable down to about 28F with two people on a fairly calm night. The fly fits fairy close to the top vents. But a tarp may be good to have if it’s windy or colder!
Thanks for the nice review. Not crazy about the limited way of entering/exiting on this tent but I'm sure its due to the design features it does have. Meanwhile, do you know of another quick pop up type tent like this that competes with this tent? Thank you
One review I saw said that the velcro left gaps on the corners where spiders and bugs could get in. That's been the only thing holding me back from purchasing. Your thoughts?
This has been the only thing holding me back too, it’s a no go for me if bugs can get in. I’ve also heart a reviewer say if you take the Velcro bottom off you will never be able to get it back right. I’m hoping if I never take it apart, the bugs won’t be an issue. But a few reviews say, that it gaps in each corner and bugs got in. That’s what’s holding me back. Also, some videos of water leaks inside around the hubs… anyone experience that?
Really well! Definitely need the guy lines for tent walls in the wind, but the way the fly anchors to the tent, it stays in place very well. I’ve never had rain get in during a storm, and I’ve spent a considerable about of time in it in rainy, windy conditions.
Ah! Mine has a battery powered pump. I was just thinking about it, and you could pull the floor back and put the air mattress in from the bottom if it needed to be inflated first.

Just were given one for Christmas by our children. Can’t wait to use it. We set it up in our yard in two minutes time.
Ordered one two days ago and it arrived today. I was impressed when i went camping with my son a couple weeks ago and he set his up.

You'll love it for sure. Have fun camping!
you sir earned a sub, thankyou I had mine delivered yesterday and have a weekend trip in Northern Ontario booked this weekend!
I have 2 one green one orange. Love this tent. ❤
Excellent review! I just bought our T4 last week - can’t wait to try it out!

Don’t think you’ll be disappointed!
Great review and very thorough. I very much appreciate this info before spending my money! Happy camping! ; -)

Would love to see Montana trip!
VERY helpful review. Thank you!
Great review! I was lucky enough to find one on Amazon for a discounted price. Thank you for helping me decide to order one.

We just got back from another trip out west. Did exactly this several times! Works like a charm!
Great review! Appreciate the tips too
Thank you I was wanting one of these.
One of the few items I never hesitate to recommend.
Grate review! Thank you, I’m gonna get one soon
Really nice review
Holy cow the tent is huge! I don't think it's gonna fit in my sedan 😅 well... maybe if I fold down all the seats on the passenger side 🤔
Hello. How did the Gazelle tent fit in your sedan? I am planning to fold my seats down also, since I don't have roof racks. Thanks Tamara.
HI 👋
THANK YOU 🙏

What about cooler weather - in my experience I have always had to add a tarp over the rain fly in open vented roof tents to block out the cold.

Great review 👏
Great review! Will a queen size air mattress fit inside the tent?
It will! With plenty of room to spare.
WOULD LIKE TO SEE 👀 YOUR ADVENTURE !
Do think this would fit in a Prius.
Not familiar with the interior of a Prius, sorry.
@@TheOutdoorGeneralist it is a hatchback car. It's smaller than an SUV.
One review I saw said that the velcro left gaps on the corners where spiders and bugs could get in. That's been the only thing holding me back from purchasing. Your thoughts?
I’d say that there are probably a few small gaps, but not a big deal at all. It’ll depend on how evenly you get the Velcro secured around the edges.
This has been the only thing holding me back too, it’s a no go for me if bugs can get in.

I am watching this one year and3 months later. Is this still your favorite tent and are there any issues yet?
Still my favorite by far! No issues. We use it often, and it’s kept us warm and dry on many a rainy night.
I find it better to put the rain fly on before popping the roof up
It is!
Would two adults and two small children fit?
Yes, for sure!
hi do you still have your gazelle t4 tent are thinking of selling it for a good price? let me know--Bob
I do still have it, but probably won’t ever sell it. It’s my current favorite way to camp close to the truck and I use it often.

Can the rain fly stay on all the time?
The way it’s designed, it has to come off when taking down the tent. Otherwise, it can stay on when the tent is up.
Are the rei camp beds more comfortable.than a blow up bed?
More comfortable than the cheap thin ones, maybe not more than a better quality air mattress. But way more portable!
@@TheOutdoorGeneralist thanks 😊
Will a double high gueen size air mattress fit in the door?
Not inflated. But we’ve used one in this tent several times.
Ah! Mine has a battery powered pump. I was just thinking about it, and you could pull the floor back and put the air mattress in from the bottom if it needed to be inflated first.
@@TheOutdoorGeneralist thank you! Just bought a battery pack to blow it up in the tent. Great review!
@@TheOutdoorGeneralist oh yeah! That’s a great idea too! I forgot about the velcro connection!
Inflate the air mattress inside the tent.
I've been wondering what happened to you
Thanks for watching!
Can you get a x large cot in there
Not sure! I don’t have any cots. But if it’s foldable, I’m guessing yes. You’d have to double check the dimensions, though.
27lbs . Is a lot of weight to hike with .
Definitely not a hiking tent. I use it for truck camping. Furthest I’ve taken it is a few hundred yards off the road.
I do not like the door entry. To big of a step for persons that have limited movement.
