Mama Squirrel and Chippy are so wonderfully calm, polite and patient. That said, I kind of miss the rambunctious hyper-energy of the Red Squirrels - at least occasionally. Any sign of them? This last winter must have been really hard on your squirrels. Thanks, always Mel G !
You’re welcome Randy! I did see a red squirrel a few days ago. It was squeaking a whole bunch but it didn’t come very close. I’m hoping someday it will make its way over! I miss them so much too!! I’m loving my new chippy friend though. He is so cute!!

Today, near my house I saw a car parked with a Connecticut plate.
I'm a little discouraged, my best friend grey squirrel had babies, she's more than 4 years old, I thought it was behind her, last year she didn't have babies and even the year before I think. She eats like a pig, she comes to see me 4 times a day, it's a lot of stress on her body at her age.
