This gameweek has been vile. So close to Haaland to Mateta for a hit. Couldn’t have gone worse. Everton double clean sheet?? Seriously? And a Foden brace the cherry on top.
Don't get me started..Pickford n branthwaite on my bench and I went to BB and the sight had crashed 😂

That's unlucky for sure. Everton's defence has been excellent tho. Pretty sure they are 2nd only to Arsenal in terms of defensive stats? I wasn't on a free hit but did have Branthwaite and he was playing for sure. As a Liverpool fan, I knew how terrible we were. If it weren't for Salah's ownership, I would've sold him for Bruno last week and wish that I did.
Whats so shocking about a foden brace?
@@OceanLoader They are 4th on defensive stats, and had worse CS odds than ARS and LIV last GW. Is what it is though.

I’m just thinking with the rest spurs have had they’ll go all out against an arsenal that have just played a double.
I think he's great 36+ but won't start first game so it's a bit tough going for him as a transfer.

My score was alright but the decisions I made at first would have been much better. I was going to put fernandez on the fh. Should have stayed double arsenal defence and should have put olise in like I had. But that's the game

Tough call. I think your team is a little bit behind the curve. Can you BB this GW (36) and FH 37?
My future advice would be to set up the chips more as you have a team that isn't equipped for 35 or 37 and you didn't take hits to accommodate either. (Reason being all hits for 35 work well for BB37, but I assume you didn't do this).

I wouldn't have played them over Isak. I preferred Ederson Petrovic near the end but obviously the sad part is Ederson is injured
Best of luck going forward Fran. Certainly unlucky with Palmer and Halaand. I have a non-Halaand team and my non-free hit team did a fair bit better than expected. Just Mateta was brought in for 34, but I was already carrying Branthwaite, White and Foden. Captaining Saka also helped.
Now looking towards 37 with 2 FTs. Salah already out for Bruno. I've had it with Liverpool. I was close to the Bruno move last week and should've done it. Not sure what do with 2nd transfer - prudent move would be Neto to either Petrovic or Vicario. Tho swapping Van Dyk for Walker or Burn / Trippier is def happening.
I agree with your Foden and Son moves - tho Son is another who is well off form right now. So much to be said for form - that was my reason for opting for Mateta and its thr reason I've moved for Bruno.
I am less sure on the Jackson move. Esp for a hit. Playing Isak and Solanke plus all 5 mids may have been the better option!
incredible team and congrats to you there! I do think that the Jackson hit isn't just about this gw but 36 (better fix vs Solanke's) and 37 where he doubles again.
Hey Fran, my goal this season is to win my mini league and I have a similar team to yours. I am 5 points off the top and third is 4 points behind me. Is it worth it to take a hit as big as a -8 or -12 if I have no wildcard.
That's what I've done - it's up to you and whether you like angling for the BB.

think I like the Debruyne/Foden move from Salah personally.
Two factors completely blew GW34 apart for most people! Triple attack from Crystal Palace coming good, Everton keeping a clean sheet and subsequently their defence and Pickford getting good points.
Absolutely! Not to mention a lot of SGW picks completely flopping, specifically w/ Haaland out to not allow for us to claw anything back really
I’m tempted to take -8 this week. I’m already on a -4. I purchased Sonny back for Salah & Schar for the injured Udogie which is unfortunate as he would’ve doubled albeit not ideal fixtures. I’m not contemplating the final hit which would be either Foden for Luis Diaz or Isak for either Muniz or Solanke. Muniz has been quite disappointing since his nice run a month or so back. I could just wait till next GW as there’s a chance Callum Wilson might be in the mix which would possibly see Isak’s mins reduced?

Sorry I missed this pre-deadline. What did you go for in the end? I agree with you on Wilson although it seems like NEW enjoy just playing 2 STs in the 2nd half as opposed to what used to happen last year (Isak pushed LW).
Well, the Schar signing wasn’t ideal as he went off injured ASAP. Opted against Isak which of course backfired 🤣 As a Spurs fan I’m now really hoping Sonny can help both my club & also my FPL team out. However, Palmer is my captain but as always, my club comes first. I’m certain to bring Isak in this although knowing my fortune of late, Wilson will “get the nod” 🤣

44 points from me this week when I own Harvertz, Salah, Haaland, Darwin, Palmer, Gabriel etc. Simply not having a FH for this week has destroyed me. So depressing after months of incremental gains, all for nothing. Feel like chip strategy carries too much weight in these scenarios where a lot of luck is involved but we move. Taking hits now is definitely a good play, especially if you will be taking them in GW37 anyway! Good luck, hoping for a strong bounce back for us in the coming weeks!

fixtures aren't great this GWimo, so you can swerve but the thing is he does feel essential 37/38

Im more into Fernandes, KDB, Gordon in gw 37. Its gona be hard getting all of them and even Son if so for that game.
For us without any more chips we gona have to flip a coin for whoever we transfer in.
Ofcourse I know what Son can do a good day. But Im probably going for a different name with my coin flip :)

You were let down by Salah, Diaz and Isak. Neto and Pau are just poor picks imo.
I didn't plan to play Pau, he was 2nd last on my bench. Not sure what the point you're making is. BOU also kept a clean sheet in the GW too.

Shocking is the word I would use to describe my GW34. Got 43 points and rank dropped from 21K to 134K.
Salah ©, Darwin and Virgil were bad, I had only Gabriel and Saka from Arsenal. I Thought I could get away from not having any Palace players, but I was punished badly. I had Palmer, Gusto, Haaland and Son, so ended up having only 10 players and one of them was Van Hecke zero pointer from the bench.
Anyways, we move on, let’s finish the season strong.
That is mad. A little bit of a worse team like myself vs the FH34 and we've come out crushed. Wow - best of luck to you rest of the season!

@@user-fe3xx4nb6m don't think it's a 'fascination' per se, he's obviously a guy who gets a lot of chances, fluffs quite a few, but ultimately just has a lot of fixtures.
