Stuart Range Ski Traverse

Matthew and I traversed the Stuart Range on skis over 5 days. We started Snow Creek TH, hiked up into the Enchantments, then summited Little Annapurna, Dragontail, Colchuck, Stuart, Point 7793, Eightmile, and Cashmere before hiking out Eightmile Road. Some of the best descents along the way were Pandora Couloir, the S Face of Colchuck, SW Couloir of Argonaut, Ulrich's Couloir on Stuart, the NE Face of Eightmile, and the S Couloir of Cashmere.

Could you shed some light on the experience and kind of education you have for planning trips like this? Knowledge beyond study of Freedom of the Hills, Etc.? Are you part of WA mountaineers? Did you take numerous avy training classes, etc? I would love to plan routes like this some day but don't have any experience with winter treks. Really love watching these. Thanks

Thanks! I didn't make them - they are Les Batons d'Alain. Very nice for skinning but not the best grip for skiing

I’m using a Sony RX100 Mark 7, Matthew is using an iPhone 8 Plus. The RX100 is nice for the zoom but other than that about the same as an iPhone
