    Always appreciate when somebody makes a vid to help. Sadly, once that music started I was out. I saw enough though, so thanks.

    You dont need to take the starter out at all tho
    You can easily change that sensor from the top 🙂

    Hey man! Just wanted to say thanks for the video. I recently just bought a 2006 Saab 9-3 2.0 Sedan last Saturday and the following day the car stalled on me on the side of the road. It wouldn't shift into gears. The reverse would work but I couldn't go forward. I got the same code "gear box malfunction" and I was worried my transmission went out since I notice it was running pretty rough. After I let the car cool down the car started up just fine and drove back home. I dropped it off with the mechanic today so I hope it's only a sensor problem. Does this sound like the same Issues u had with your car??? Thanks

      @@jimmiewilson4897 I was told by a Saab mechanic that there is no cam sensor for a Saab 9-3 4 cylinder. The 6 cylinder however does have one. It can still give trouble codes even though the car doesn't have that sensor.

    • @noobmartin
      @noobmartin Před rokem +1

      There is no camshaft position sensor on these engines. The ECU determines the position of the engine by using the crankshaft position sensor and by measuring the ionization current of the combustion via the spark plugs.
