Pyotr is quickly becoming one of my favorite players on the Canes right now. Really hope he pans out to be our next franchise goalie, cause we definitely need one.
Also hats off to Slavin last night. He put in that work and shutdown Hughes. He got a well deserved two points from that performance.

This kid is the real deal - we are going to miss him with the Chicago Wolves, he’s not coming back down. His first match here he was pushed around - he fought back. A few weeks later, he took a penalty for crossing center ice to get in on a scrum at the other goal crease. Gotta love a grinder goalie!

@@tonychen3368 his first game with the Wolves - a few games later, got 2 Minutes for for crossing the red line to join in a fight. Ref stopped him.

I know a lot of fans (especially here in Canada) aren’t big on southern states getting hockey teams but I’ve always loved the fans in Carolina. They just bring a different feel to the hockey world. Texas and Tennessee, too. Hopefully hockey keeps growing down there.
We hope to keep growing too....having Kochetkov in net helps....he is definitely talented
A lot of us are former northerners. Speaking for myself, been down here 25 years, but from Pittsburgh. Lots of NY, Ohio, NE, PA transplants. And a nice mix of Natives who quickly picked up the game and are some of the most diehard hockey fans I've ever seen.
I’m in Dallas, we go to every game, love hockey. It’s the last sport played by men. So sick of the over payed pre-Madonna athletes and their ball. We’re living the puck life and we love it!
I dont know why some have a stick up their rear about southern states having hockey teams. Sports are for everyone, all over the world. If Africa wants to play hockey then I say fantastic. Sports is supposed to bring people together not drive a wedge between them. Some people just need a reason to complain about someone else I guess.
Leaving out Tampa, who have been amazing as well.
He gets so excited and passionate for the game and the fans.
