    I take inginla before this guy because he not small at 6 feet 185. And has leader qualities and performs under pressure

      I love him also, but I found that he under-performed at the u18 tournament but that’s probably me!😂😂. In my opinion it’s between Lindstrom and Iginla. I like Lindstrom because of his size, speed and overall hockey IQ. But Iginla is definitely interesting.

      But def not Eiserman. He lacks his defensive play. Good goal scorer though.

      It will all depend on draft interviews. They picked slaf over everybody else because of his interview. They skipped michkov because he didnt do an interview if i recall... So yea whoever calls to them they will take.

      @@HabsNation809 Iginla underperformed in the U18s??? What? lol he had 6 goals in 7 games played, 12 points and was the main part of the goal that made it 3-2 on McKenna’s goals, Iginla goes to the boards wins the battle for the puck slides it to Mckenna for him to walk in and make it 3-2… Iginla was involved in the goal that made it 3-3, Attacks the side of the net with beautiful hands and dishes it up top to Mckenna… Iginla wins ANOTHER BATTLE passes it to Mckenna and he dishes it back to Iginla and he snipes it home to make it 5-3 and that’s 1 goal 2 assists 3 points in a gold medal game… Iginla was a massive player for Canada and had an amazing tournament for a 17 year old player who was projected to go 20th-15th overall in the NHL draft 2-3 months ago… I’m sorry but that’s a bad take.. Consider his age and being around 1 month away from being eligible for the 2025 draft he was amazing, Sure he’s not a generational talent, But Iginla in my opinion has IMPACT first line upside at the NHL level and at the very least he’s a second line winger at the NHL level… Very safe pick with lots of upside… He had a great tournament and performed when it mattered and came up BIG for Canada… Iginla will be a big time Playoff player in the NHL almost like Wyatt Johnston…

    It's a crap shoot. The last time we had the opportunity to draft the familiar name(Tkachuk), we didn't. So just based on that, Igninla is my choice! Of course, that choice is not pro scout level but whatever.. lol

      He’s not a team player and his defence is not to par now imagine In the nhl so many players with better overall qualities like inginla this guy can score can play 2 way and is a leader and can play under pressure Montreal be a perfect fit

    Habs will draft Demidov…. Personally I want Iginla but I was thinking Demidov and Lindstrom would be gone… Here me out, Chicago got Bedard last draft he’s their corner stone forward…. They still need a Corner Stone D! Personally I believe Chicago will do what Montreal did in 2023!! Montreal needed to get a first pairing RD to ensure they had the best chance at winning a cup when the time comes and the way the NHL is going right now, YOU NEED TO BUILD FROM THE BACK TO THE FRONT… The Habs took Reinbacher, Chicago in my opinion will pass on Demidov and pick Levshunov and solidify their D core… Chicago can always find Top 6 player to pair with Bedard in future drafts or Free Agency, WHAT IS HARD TO DO IS GET A TOP PAIRING RD in free agency or trades… Chicago will go Levshunov, Anaheim is going with a D they already said their main target is a RD this summer, If they get one with a trade or Free Agency they still need a BIG SHUT DOWN D to go with all their small offensive defenders they are lacking size on the back end… Anaheim will go with Silayev!!… CBJ HAD LAINE AT CENTRE THIS SEASON 💩🤣😂… They need a Big C down the middle because they do not trust Sillinger or Johnson down the middle in CBJ’s eyes they are wingers at the NHL level… CBJ will pick Cayden Lindstrom… WHICH LEAVES IVAN DEMIDOV TO THE MONTREAL CANADIENS!!! The Habs have already said they like Demidov so they will not pass on him like Michkov, 1. Because they have their D core solidified, 2. Michkov had character issues, 3. Michkovs contract was not appealing to the Habs and 3 he’s a 5’10 scorer who can’t play defence… Ivan Demidov is a 200 foot machine!!! Loved by his teammates and he’s 5’11 or 6’0 depending on who you ask, he also has more potential than Michkov and will probably weigh around 180-190 pounds when he gets to the NHL, Demidov also doesn’t have a long contract like Michkov… And oh, Before you say “we have to much small forwards” do your homework!!!
    Tampa Bay 20-21 had 5 players 5’11 or under, Point 5’10, Gourde 5’9, Coleman 5’11, Johnson 5’9, Kucherov 5’11….
    Colorado Avalanche 22-23 had Newhook 5’11, Girard 5’10, Lehkonen 5’11, Cogliano 5’10, Makar 5’11…
    Chicago 2015 team had Kane 5’10, Versteeg 5’11, Shaw 5’11, Teravainen 5’11, Timonen 5’10…
    Penguins in 2016 AND 2017 had Crosby 5’11, Kessel 5’11, Hornqvist 5’11, Daley 5’11, Rust 5’11, Sheary 5’8, Scott Wilson 5’10, Guentzel 5’11… That’s 8 players 5’11 and under lmao…
    These dumb takes about the Habs being too small is hilarious!! Use your eyes and watch how Suzuki, Caufield and Newhook play lol they play solid two way games and play with tenacity… Habs can add Demidov and be fine, Also the Habs right now are the 6th heaviest team in the NHL….
    You can win a cup with “undersized” players they just have to be players that play strong two way games and Marty St. Louis is developing all our prospects in those types of players…

    • @4u2nvHock3y
      @4u2nvHock3y Před 22 dny

      I agree with everything said Tyler. However I think Demidov will easily be picked up by Columbus. He can play C and just too much talent to say NOPE to. I think if they wanted Lindstrom they would trade with Montreal swap picks get the Jets first just to always have wanted Lindstrom.

  • @4u2nvHock3y
    @4u2nvHock3y Před 22 dny

    A lot of people like Lindstrom. I dont. Reminds me soo much of Kirby in his draft year. I think if he does stay healthy he will be that top 6 65-80 point guy. But that was the same thing with Dach. And his development will be slow. Typically goalscorers in minors with a big frame take a bit to translate. I want to see the Habs take Demidov if possible maybe even Parekh. But if Demidov isnt there at 4 where we could trade up to get him then maybe trade down for Catton Iginla Eiserman? They are all top 6 players they are just lower because of all the defenseman which we dont need. Lindstrom still SHOULD be a great player. Im just worried with how much he looks like Dach

    IGINLA!!!!

  • @zblip22
    @zblip22 Před 22 dny

    Lindstrom has a bad back, and Iginla is ranked 10th. The Habs should have picked Mitchkov, Leonard or Zach Benson last year instead of a defenceman called Reinbacker who was ranked 15th, who has knee problems and questionable stats. What can we do, that's Montreal, the worst first round pickers of all professional sports.

    • @4u2nvHock3y
      @4u2nvHock3y Před 22 dny

      All? Are we just gonna forget how they dodged a bullet from Wright in 2022 by taking the best player AND best fit? Are we gonna talk about Mesar who looks like a legit future 2nd liner and was picked almost in round 2. Are we gonna talk about Beck who basically was a 2nd round pick and now looks like a future Danault? Reinbacher has been our only BAD pick in the Hugo era and we still don't know that he won't become the next McAvoy. Unlikely but possible. What if Michkov dosent pan out and goes back to Russia like Kollvy? What if Benson faces carrer ending injuries due to his lack of physicality? Those are all risks not really there for Reinbacher like for them. I think Reinbacher will also be much more consistent and bring more to the table that we need.

      @@4u2nvHock3y Sorry, I know you want to stay optimistic. Yes, the Habs managed to take some good decisions regarding lower round picks. But it is the first round picks that determines if you will one day win the cup. In 4 years only one hasn't been a blunder.

    • @4u2nvHock3y
      @4u2nvHock3y Před 21 dnem

      @zblip22 What? Reinbacher was the only blunder and we still don't know that. And you really are wrong. The Bruins missed 3 TIMES in the greatest draft of all time and could've had 3 cornerstone pieces and still made a cup final game 7 and had a 65 win season 😄 🤣. Let me know the first round picks that have been "Blunders" Other the Reinbacher in the Hughes era.
