Roy Lee Centers was the greatest lead singer ever in Ralph Stanley's band, hands down!
I can’t help myself. I went to high school from ‘75-79 in Jackson KY where Mr Centers is from. By a strange chance my great mamaw’s 2nd husband was Sam Stanley, Ralph’s uncle. I never met Ralph but can tell you Sam was an outstanding man.
