This is absolute delusion and zero self awareness... Lingard and Pogba are perfect examples of why the club was failing from a personnel perspective. Both were too interested in being social media superstars and football was just their tool of attaining followers and fame. The proper successful ones we know of focussed on their football, and the money, fame, respect etc naturally followed. I'm so glad these kind of players have moved on from United.
No wonder y he fall from grace. So much talent but does not have the mentality
đđ
Letâs be honest tho , if thatâs true why didnât united cut them earlier ? Itâs also uniteds fault , Iâm a united fan and hearing this just makes me madder at the club
@@ethanhunt634 I agree with you, that's why I said it was failing from a personnel perspective. The club obviously has deeper issues in terms of owners, the guys running the club, the managers were terrible appointments on a few occasions etc. But hearing this from Lingard boggles the mind.. Telling us how he went to them about CZcams and get with what's 'poppin' đ€Š You can tell he's not the brightest but his comments are beyond ridiculous. I say it again, i'm over the moon he's gone. It finally looks like the players under Ten Hag are starting to get it. Focus on the football, give 100% and the fans will be happy no matter what. The success will come with time, the skillset is there, it's the focus and application that was missing for a long time.
The mind of a child. Oh, they got rid of our playroom of darts and table tennis boo hoo. You're playing at Man Utd and getting paid well, what more motivation do you need? so what if the facilities are a little behind. Does he think smaller teams who have won big things with limited resources moan as he does? No, because a winner is a winner and Jesse Lingard is not one with that type of dogged mentality.
We need to see a video of Roy Keane watching this video
Id love that bro đ€Łđ
Its all nonsense... id kick him off the bus... đđ€Łđđ§Ą
Lol đ
I can already see the unimpressed stare from Roy
It really is amazing how intensely immature, pampered and full of himself Lingard is. Fortunately he belongs to a bygone era in United and is now where he rightly belongs; at the bottom of the League and soon struggling in the Championship. Lingard is not a player you would want in any team aspiring to winning through professionalism.
It is light and day between the midfield now and the time of Pogba. When Fernandes came in you could see the difference in attitude, care, and generally his overall frustration with others around him.
Pogba couldn't do it because he wouldn't do it. Rolling the ball with his studs, trying a turn, or holding on to the ball trying to be too cute in dangerous areas, no ambition to move it quickly. Then just the overall attitude.
When Pogba and Lingard were together back in 2016 you could see it was all a bit of fun and "oh, oh, oh let's try this handshake, oooh if one of us scores we should celebrate like this". They were the kids at school who loved the new boots, kit, bigged each other up, and had no actual substance or character to them.
Fernandes, Eriksen, and McTominay are midfielders who want to win at all costs. Who will do what they can for the team, all the ugly bits, and their talent is in service to the team. With Pogba the team was an excuse to express his talents. Who never did the grunt work, like running or tackling.
Ten Haag would have simply gone through Pogba for a shortcut and it would have been good to see how he would have responded. Because it's one of two things with Ten Haag. Perform or don't but never ever think you're above the team and you are only as good as your last game.
Nottingham showed the love đ they were the only ones stupid enough to offer you a contract that you in no way deserved you mean
Least insightful observations from any player ever, âwe were just behindâ oh great! Got it, thanks
My take away from this 8 minute interview...
"united need to catch up, ya know darts board n that"
Very insightful Jesse!
He seems very shallow and boring.
đ đ đ
What I realized from the attitude and response from Jesse lingard is that; he's not obsessed about the game, he's more obsessed with the affluence it brings and the external excitement from people momentarily influences his performance. He would not have continued like that under Ten Hag.
Couldn't agree more
Well said đđŸđđŸđđŸ
Look i think the way he was talking about it was wrong and jus stupid talking about the darts and stuff. But there is a problem there at utd like mentality wise (the environment/culture) and its current facilities. Ronaldo spoke about how poorly run it is and the old facilities, Sanchez on his first day saw the club at training and said he wanted to go back to arsenal, Jose said one of his biggest accomplishments in life is gettin utd 2nd, Lukaku said inter saved him from a deep hole in united, Ibra said that united are not a big club bc of there closed and small mentality, Di maria sayin psg saved him from utd and so many other people like ragnrick, lingard, pogba, etc have spoke about this. New owners or a director needs to be put in place so this all changes.
@@filly1up owners haven't maintained the club they've let it fall into obscurity, laid a big turd and tried to sell it off like a diamond in the stock market.
Jesse is not wrong about the low moral. Every strong winning dynasty has a core group of players that keep up the Moral. Once you lose that the club falls off.
It's like when Arsenal lost Berkhamp/Henry/Vierra and Chelsea lost Drogba/Lampard/Terry, both clubs lost Characters, stability and consistency.
United did a great job in transitioning from the Beckham/Keane era to the Ronaldo/Rooney era.
Imagine replacing Vidic/Rooney/RVP with Fellaini/Lingard/Pogba/Martial.
This is an interview with a man that canât accept he wasnât good enough! Given enough chances! You should have went to West Ham but you chose greed over youâre career.
I donât wish Lingard ill but we are so much better off without him as a player and as a man
Ronaldo criticises the club and the whole world goes into meltdown. Lingard airs criticism and no one bats an eyelid đ
The context is completely different..
Have u not read the comments loooool and one player is one of the best to ever play the game and the other is just an average player who stole a wage, so obviously the media aren't gonna be all over this lol
His mindset clearly shows why United didnât perform with footballers like him đ€·đ»ââïž
This is NOT winning mentality.
This is wanting to be spoiled.
Good lord. Even by footballers standards he offers less than nothing.
Couldnât have said it better myself. What a half wit. Always thought he was shite for United.
Seriously!! He's talking about social media relevancy, đ€Łđ€Ł"It all about relevancy", which explains this interview. Who is the world doesn't know Man Utd. it comes down to football, not what you post, good football and winning trophies keeps you relevant.
We needed a DART BOARD all this time. We spent 1 billion on players but Jesse needed a dartboard..
Do you not see the point no?
@@taylormade2826 Yeah he wanted to play darts with his mates.. Man City obviously have a Dart Board.. Real Madrid must have loads I bet Ronaldo wasnt in the gym HE WAS PLAYING DARTS!!!!
Some of these players are truly ungrateful. United kept you even when you were bad for more than one season but all of a sudden you stay in a club for months and they showed you more love? Glad heâs left United.
Wif no game time would u want to stay
Plus with how many players bought and not played wha are you thinking
What happened to Amad Diallo
40 million to not start him in the first team and send him on loan before transferring him
Like tf
It's always someone else's faults isn't it. Getting shot of this muppet, Pogba and CR7 was the best thing that could've happened to United.
No they werenât
Cristiano is bigger than your club. You are 3d in pl dont forget that. You aint winning shit
@@stivib5937 Do you get out much on a Saturday night? I didn't think so. Jog on
Jesse needs to introspect. He was carried by the club for atleast 3 years n his joining Nottingham clearly shows where his football ambitions lie.
Casemiro, Erikson and Bruno all seem able to perform at United
This just confirmed why this guy is no longer there. Facilities, social media. Quite embarrassing actually, Iâm sure the 75k a week or whatever you were on helped.
Love Jesse and was sad to see him leave, however, would an up to date state of the art Jacuzzi have made him perform better? Personally I think due to having all these comfy, shiny facilities for all those years made majority of the players too comfortable, too safe, created a pampered attitude. Nobody had all those facilities when plying their trade in in their YTS years with the youth team. They played for the live not the facilities or bragging rights about the facilities.
Lingard unfortunately thinks he's better than he is, I think pogba and him have more than dancing in common. As a united fan I was hanging on his every word, all three of them. I just wish he would've gave more insight a lot more. Especially about the managers but mainly the glazers and how they have raped this club for nigh on 18 years but he's more bothered about only having table tennis and a 20 pound dart board seeing as the games room wasn't up to date or bang tidy as he'd say, why didn't they chip in and buy a pool table it's not like they're on 200k a week or anything.. Come on Jesse show some passion man. Great interview though bartlett a natural.
"all three of them" đ
Christ he literally provided nothing, that was dead chat from Jesse, interviewer carried
I got a dart board the other week, ÂŁ30.
I think Arsenal are top because they have table tennis and darts
đ€Łđ€Łđ€Łđ€Łđ€Ł these cretins that have had our shirt on since Ferguson leftâŠ. Near criminal
He sounded like he was falling asleep while speaking , I turned on the captions
Mumbles is his name.
There's no table tennis for the boys đ€Ł.. great channel btw... This clip shows how great the presenter is by the amount he carried this conversation
This player says... you want the best facilities...showing up and playing to your best has nothing to do with facilities. There was a time when sportsman didn't have any of that and still played well.
Jesus, the whingeing entitlement, try playing better Jesse, give that a go đ
Pogba wasn't good enough for the prem.. Maguire plays well for England like pogba plays for france
You won at life with this statement! đđ»
NOT!!!
Pogba didnât have the team to perform. If he went to city we would have spoken about him winning the ballon dor.
@@AT-py2bp you think Pep would have allowed him to be inconsistent? Nah lol
@@obitriceforlife5771 I think under pep pogba would have become a beast in the premier league and we wouldnât even be having this conversation
This is why West Ham shouldn't sign Lingard on a short term contract. "Showing the love", as Lingard refers to it, is "Showing the money", which is why he chose Forest. It wasn't for footballing reasons. Flying him around to get the deal over the line? Who planes it from Manchester to Nottingham?
When you look at Jesseâs career right now, heâs currently a sub for a newly promoted Nottingham Forest against his old club. The problem was not a lack of facilities, itâs was the lack of dedication mixed with a poor attitude and poor performances. Football is a cut throat business and I feel Jesse was given waaaay more leniency and chances at Utd than a lot of other players. Ronaldo said there was a poor work ethic when he returned to the club and I can almost guarantee Lingaard was one of them. More interested in the goal celebrations and banter than the performances.
Yeh because pogbas been class ever since heâs gone to juventus đ
Pogba would have thrived with Eriksen and Casemiro behind him. Just like he did with Matic and Herrera behind him. Those players can cover the weaknesses in his game.
Bruno came and played 10 behind the same DMâs and pogba couldnât bench him .. literally had to get someone else to do his job .. then he moved to left wing .. an already crowded space .. if pogba does what Bruno does now .. he wouldnât be half bad .. but his inconsistency and emotional intelligence..
@@christopherezengwa9397 Herrera left before Bruno came in...
@@thrilla72 before Bruno came in we had pogba inconsistently playing the 10 role ..why did we have to get Bruno to play 10?
@@christopherezengwa9397 I think because there were rumours of Pogba leaving
Good luck in the rest of your career. We will see you in a few years on strictly dancing on ice or in I'm a celebrity. Good luck
Does he not get it. What was peeing fans off was drawing and losing games and within days LIngard and pogba doing crap on Instagram
You only have to look how much Man Utd have improved since the big ego players in Ronaldo, Lingard, Pogba and Lukaku have all left to see what the issues were. Dean Henderson as well.
If Lingard was a football club he would be Social Media FC.
He always had that academy grad vibe even at 30. Saddest excuse for a football player, him and Pogba.
Jesus Jesse don't strain yourself too hard giving us the details anyway
I felt my IQ slipping watching this
I canât bear to watch this. Thereâs players who practiced and worked on the fitness for hours whoâd chew their arms off to get the chances he had and he thinks he and his cohort could have played better if they hung around in the sauna after training
I'd love to hear feedback from Steven on this interview
I can see where he is coming from...with the context of Darts and all that. To my understanding he is talking about where there was no team building activities besides training...That is an issue in itself too.
But what I have seen from Ronaldo's interview and Lingard's interview is kinda showing something that the owners are lacking behind in most areas...and I can agree to a certain extent but also this two players are very different we all know but they kinda sound very egoistical which can result to easily point fingers when things don't go their way. This is why you tend to see the true colours of someone when things don't go well and they don't take some sort of responsibility. I wish him the best but mindset like this usually will not even help in real life situation apart from being a professional footballer.
Forest showed the love (ÂŁ's) that West Ham didn't. Just say it was about money rather than blowing smoke about love. It ain't tinder.
he floated and his career went down down down, 100k a year and crying about a dart boat for 20 pound laughable really
Lingard is mediocre, he is no good even at Forest. The reason is simple. The club can only move forward when players have the burning ambition to win trophies. Not players who are more interested in playing video games or going to Paris Fashion Week. Lingard had some potential, but is ultimately a wasted potential.
A great advert for not getting a young lad and taking him to a club where they do everything for him.
I would guess he can't change a lightbulb.
Heâs absolute bellend
@@robertwalters9652 Watching that, I sorta think there's something wrong with him.
@@SpotlessLeopard exactly this - it's the reason I came to the comments.
@@SpotlessLeopard what do you think it is ? Drugs ?
@@robertwalters9652 Could be, or booze.
Well, judging by the high standards Jesse had, you'd think he would join the clubs with the best facilities and best pools and Jacuzzis, He's currently at wilford lane with Nottingham, yet to register a goal or assist in the prem. Probably if he spent more time on the pitch at Carrington and less in the locker room moon walking he'd be half the player he was expected to be after showing his potential. But then again he's right, the club had no backbone,it was indeed a free for all, cause players like him would still be playing regular football after shambolic performances and social media antics. One of the greatest' what could of been
Pogba canât perform at any club
You can tell by the way he's sitting and the way he speaks that's he's one of the players that just didn't care for the club. I'm glad he's gone and in a relegation fight with Forest. His ego and attitude, jeez! someone else can live that
People are slating Lingard and Pogba for the most part no real reason at all. In any organisation, you want to be appreciated and understood. I don't really think Pogba or Lingard got that at United except for a few occations. and lets not forget United were run very poorly in these years, bad organisational management is going to trickle down to the players and affect them. Ronaldo said it best, there was no evolution since he left a decade ago. Mourinho said one of his biggest achievements was to finish 2nd at United, because of what was happening behind the scenes. People need to look at those running the organisation and get the bigger picture more. And most importantly stop scapegoating two players who really, have achieved alot more than those who commenting hate. Lingard and Pogba aren't perfect people, so why are people expecting this.
Thereâs a point in the interview that I think Lingard lies. He is asked did you want to stay at West Ham and he said yes, then he is asked why didnât you move then, did Man Utd want to keep you? He says yes then quickly changes the subject. I donât believe at all that Man Utd wanted to keep him, you donât loan out a 28 year old if you want to keep him, doesnât make sense. I think he thought he could blag a new contract from Utd but then the realisation that heâs not good enough hit him and the offer never came.
By more love I assume he means more money, I am sure in the summer when forest want to reduce his contract he will be off to find some more love else where
WOW! I always gave the players the benefit of doubt but if having a games room influences how you train and perform on the pitch you seriously need a reality check!! You don't know how fortunate you are to just play football as a living! Absolutely need to look at yourself in the mirror and reevaluate your priorities in life!.
The managerial structure, the glazers, they are all to blame. Pogba was world class, lingard was a quality player. We even had di Maria, Mata, these players. You can't blame the players. It's got to be the owners and the structure they put in place that are to blame.
Really đ€Ł
Lets not get it wrong. He is a very very average football player.
Look at where he is now, Nottingham, a relegating club. So take what he says with a grain of salt.
Talking about the facilities at United, as someone said, you give Tiger woods a piece of wood and he will still be the best golf player in the world.
On the other hand, look at Pogba right now, where exactly is he? Playing, injured, or being cursed by witchcraft by his brothers?
Facilities are not the problem, club is not the problem, entitled players are.
That is why United are doing well now. Humble, disciplined and work ethic, not entitlement, overtalking and yapping your mouth.
Jesse never had the mentality. Too busy dancing. Woe is me type of guy.
Pogba played like 1.5 games in total this season and spent the rest of his season at the hospital inJuve. Jesse spent almost the entirety of a relegation threatened Nottingham on the bench. Perhaps the instead of pointing fingers at others, they should take a deep look at themselves.
Proper little squeak
International football has nothing on the premiership when it comes to quality. Once you get past the top 10 sides the rest are way off so a top international side have max 3 difficult games to win a trophy. Grown men talking about a lack of structure as if they are at school when youâre meant to be professionals and be able to focus on your craft without a million rules. Absolute babies talking about leaks while itâs the same players leaking
âNottingham showed the love (money) a lot more then West Hamâ. The guy is a clown and good is dance to him and the likes of Pogba!
Negativity in the comments it can never be me stop preaching hate you will never know what he really went through so please....if you can't be nice then don't comment that's all thank you I will always love football players and all the hard work they put in for the benefit of their team.
Zero love for the sport just vibes. You don't need to be a scientist to see why Jesse can't even make it into Nottingham Forest's first team. Not sure about his personality but as a player he isn't it.
This man whoâs making ÂŁ200K a week canât even speakâŠ
Play the game on the pitch, train on the training ground, you can eat what you want, millionaires, you can build your own facility at home,
Out of all the structural inadequacies within Manchester United he talks about not having a games room. Says it all. Fuck me

I guess we found 2 of the leaks and Henderson.
All this doesn't matter, you youngsters are just spoilt. You don't need to have the best to be the best. Most footballers who get to the top didn't have the best and thats what drove them. Having the best can change your mentality and cause you to spoilt and unappreciated
Look i think the way he was talking about it was wrong and jus stupid talking about the darts and stuff. Jesse Lingard - âJust BehindâŠâ
Trying to decipher what heâs saying! đ€·đœââïž
This is why He is not even a starting player in one of the worst team in the league. He should be happy that he played in teams like West Ham Newcastle and Man-u.
How can a man be so delusional.
Manchild, no wonder United were like they were with people like this and their attitudes.
I bet Man City have the best dart bored money can buy
A very inflated sense of his worth. One half a decent half season with West Ham doesnt mean you deserve a hefty long term contract at 30 years of age. Only once in his career made over 30 league appearances in a single season. How can you expect so much when no consistency has been shown? It baffles me. These people don't realise just how lucky they are. Happened to be born at a time when having some arbitrary talent at kicking a piece of leather on a grass rectangle gets so highly rewarded. Humility, please. Dont want to insult him but jesus christ its no wonder Utd's standards have been decimated. ETH is agitating all of the smelly bad attitude that is seeped into every crevice of the club and its no surprise that the place is being stunk out as it is at the minute.
You lost my respect when you said things like Jacuzzi has all the ability but other things in his life or people around him have changed him mulesstein at united said he could be live a insta player at united
"Ooooo Ronaldo did an interview so I'm going to aswell dab dab dab dab"
I like lingard but I don't think he made much sense here! Seemed a bit unintelligent.
A lot of the things he complains about is the stupidest stuff, giving out about not having a games roomđđ heâs not 14, grow up, itâs your job, if you wanna play games with the lads get that stuff at home and invite them over. Also you canât claim we with united anymore, you arenât part of the club anymore, you showed your true colours going to Forrest for money rather then going to an ambitious club with an exciting project for less money
Just like how in F1, they spend millions to cut lap times but fractions of a second, man utd should have the same mentality in that they should invest in their equipment to improve players physically and mentally even if only marginally. These marginal differences can be the difference that helps a player score goals.
I thought I spoke English but I just canât understand him.
It was like a bad trip having to put up with this clown and pogba as the senior players in the dressing room. Did this really happen đł
Did we actually get anymore info in this rather than hmmm needs to be more modern đ
It's still there just old and that ,pools a pool ,no games room?
You are also among the people doing what they want but with ETH every ego have been surrendered
It holds nothing on his performance, making excuses
West Ham donât spend money they loan players then try get them for pennies after loan ends they deserve to be relegated
Man can't even frame a complete sentence and he is a native speaker.
Same chef đšâđł duhhh isnât that a good thing đđ
Lingard... man... The more I listen the more I'm glad he left... His emphasis is constantly on the wrong syllable
Saying much without really saying much

The poor lad . City and spurs have a better jacuzzi than utd no wonder they were shit
Bloody hell that was hard to listen toâŠ
