I find the BK brushes are the ones I reach for the most. I have some expensive brushes and I do love them, but for some reason these are the ones I reach for.
I'm sure that foundation brush will be a go-to for me!

I love to use the 107 brush for blending cream bronzers and cream blushes.
Thank you for this video. BK beauty does have eye brushes for hooded/small eyes. I have those and love them.
I don't have a good history with foundation brushes. I think my first one was the Sigma F80 which was all the rage- hated it and kept using my fingers. Then I got a Stila one that I liked, but not as much as my fingers. Then I tried the Wayne Goss and Sonia G. Hated them, both were pokey and streaky. I gave up. Then I saw a bk beauty video and I absolutely freaking love the 106 for foundation and the 101 comes in a close 2nd. I also discovered the It cosmetics love is the foundation brush which rivals the 106. I also learned to dot the foundation on the inner parts of my face and blend out to avoid the brushes soaking up foundation.
Btw- I prefer to be told what to use the brush for as well, I ultimately may find my own use for it though. I also wish every brush also was labeled with cream/powder/all and the type of hair. But over all, love the bk beauty brushes. I really love the hooded eye set!
Last thing- I really liked the whole look today- hair, sweater, makeup. Lovely

So pretty! I hope you had a wonderful week off. We all need breaks from time to time. I have 5 BK Beauty brushes and a mishmash of other brands. 3 are eye brushes from the Angie series (A101, 102, 103). I think they are smaller. Having small hooded eyes as well, I find the AHF brushes might be a smidge too small. I like them for density and softness, but sometimes I still reach for some old standards that are probably just muscle memory and I need to experiment more. The BK 104 from the original set I tried for bronzer but I like something smaller, so tried with blush because of the soft tapered head. It is now my go to blush brush. Btw - Never thought of using a brush for lymphatic drainage. Great idea!
I'm going to try it! You're supposed to barely touch the skin with the fingers, so this might be great!

Little tip if you haven’t heard already - the Caliray mascara gets off well with warm, borderline hot water (of course not enough to actually burn or hurt the delicate eye area, but enough to get the tubes off)! I had the same issue until I raised the temperature of my water, then it was easy to remove :)

Another great and informative tutorial. Did you know that they actually have an eye brush set specifically for hooded, smaller eyes? That may be a fun set for you to try/demo for us. I have hooded eyes as well and would enjoy seeing that very much.
Do you mean the Angie Hot & Flashy set? Yes, I have that, but I don't particularly like them - I figured it would be safer not to review them - lol
I use the 106 exclusively for foundation application. I use it to "pounce" the foundation in place. I use the small powder brush as well to strategically add finishing powder. I currently don't bother with under eye concealer since I wear small glasses that in overhead light throw a dark shadow under my eyes anyway, so what's the point?
I really like the BK brushes for face and eyes. I think they are affordable! Your skin looks great.
How do you pick a foundation color and what is your current favorite?
Picking foundation shades is a challenge, especially lately. It seems man brands are using the same lab and therefore the same or similar colors and they are too warm, yellow or peach. Dior 2N seems to work for me but the color changes a bit from one products to another. I'm loving the Tilbury Beautiful Skin, MUFE Reboot, Dior Natural Nude, Givenchy Prisme Libre and Haus labs, which has more coverage
I have the bk brushes and I like them but not my favorites ones.
They won't replace my favorites - but solid additions to my collection!

I did not like the sizes of her face brushes. The 101 brush was hard to clean IMO. I ended up selling them.
ahh...I haven't yet cleaned it, just spot clean. It is dense, will be interesting to see how it washes up!
