roadkill guys use glasspacks, dynomax race bullet glass packs to be exact.
Exhaust makes such a difference in the driving experience . Just added Stainless works headers , high flow cats and Flowmasters to my daily 2017 Z71 . The tune , extra power and better drive ability just made it so much more enjoyable to drive .

Sounds good, i miss when i would go to my garage to start up my '69 Firebird everytime it started up paint would fall off the ceiling it was loud with headers, 3 inch dual Flowmasters dumped.

My dad has 2 Camaro's. He has a 1969 z/28 all original Camaro and he has a 1969 ss Camaro convertible with an in-progress restore. I love your camaro

Time to ditch those manifolds! I have a 454 in my '67, and instead of putting notches or dimples in the headers, I used Moroso engine mount spacers and shimmed the engine over .250". Hooker long tubes clear everything and I took a bubble level to the carb flange - the shimming put my motor dead level. Do an x-pipe too. You won't regret it.
Nick sounds great with a deeper tone. That is a awesome ride and do your best to keep it as a driver and looking as original as possible!

@@gmcdenali7178 shorties are pretty much useless, not much better than factory manifolds. longtubes make a huge difference in tone and low end power
@@coreyclark2692 I was thinking too much of small blocks... with his 454 with Flowmasters, headers actually now that I think of it would do him well... but if he can find some he should avoid anything larger than 1 7/8" headers. 2" headers would hurt his torque a little. But if he's gonna put higher gearing in the back like some say he will, 2" should be fine

I really think a set of headers will make the exhaust just right. You should get those in next then weld it permanently. So stoked for you Nick. Such an awesome car.

@@Muscle.Car.Central so awesome man. I got to drive just a Grand National. But the GNX is the one I really want. The looks to me are just awesome. I also used to have a 1985 Monte Carlo that I loved. Only had a 305 but I was 17 and it kicked ass.

Love the car, but sold my first gen a few years ago, to get a fifth gen. I drove my 68 RS , my first car for twenty years. One ride in a fifth gen I had to have one , now a 6 gen SS. Miss it but love my 2018 Camaro, never driven any other car than a Camaro my entire life and I’m 57...lol. Your channel rocks, keep it coming...

Funny thing I owned one when I was 18 like it was no big deal. But this was also probably before you was born. It was 89 when I had mine. And I did cram a 454 in mine. It was done super clean even for being only 18 I spent more time in my buddies dads race shop then he did. Which I still had mine.

Sounds a lot better I would want some headers on it if it was mine. Nice ride! My dream car when I was wanting one but settled for a 68 instead which became my dream car that I finally owned. Eventually had to sell it but now I miss it. Keep up the hard work on the channel.

I have a 1972 Nova SS and back in the 90's when I got home in the wee hours of the morning , I would idle through my neighborhood , and I could still set off càr alarms , actually still has the same exhaust on it and still sounds good . I'm hoping to take it apart and restore it one of these days except I have another engine going in it . It's probably going to be more of a restomod .

Dual 3" with 10 series Flowmasters would sound nasty
One easy thing you can do to those rally wheels is put the small caps on instead of those big caps. That will also make your wheel look deeper than it is. Love the sound of the car.

Headers are a must !
You should cut the exhaust before the rear axle and put the tips facing the ground ! You get a much better sound bouncing off the ground ! If you want an insane Loud exhaust you should install Cut-Outs !

Love the car , had one without the stripes ( sniffle ) just need headers , Corsa and small mufflers just to keep it manageable .

Headers and better mufflers please. That's what we used to do to those cars in the sixties and seventies. The sound was amazing.
