    This week we are here a bit earlier, but hope you do not mind :) We all knows that after some time your aquascape may get old. You neglect it and you're at the point to do a new one, or refresh the current one, to give it another few exciting months. We've gone on this second way and updated quickly the look. Do you like it? It is too much? Not your taste? Let us know in the comments below.

    Such an old video, but the skills shown seem to have a hint of genius ahead of its time, even by today's standards.
    The transition of look and vibe, with all the geometry involved, from start to finish was a really top-notch-skills-showcase. That, along with your chill manner, makes it fun to watch.
    The music is also on point. I can vibe to the video the whole time too. Great selection!

    First I'd like to say props to this guy for doing what he does. it's incredible. But to beginners like me who are just getting into aquariums and aquascaping I just want to say you don't need to spend the outrageous amount of money that these kinds of setups require. It doesn't have to be an ADA tank, you don't need fancy substrate or CO2 systems or any of this high tech stuff. I went to my local pet store and got everything I need there for less than 150 dollars. Including fish and plants. I'm doing a 10 gal setup, very simple as this is my first project. Guys, go learn what you need for a basic set up and learn what you need for mantainence then go buy what's economical for you and try it. This guy is marketing this as though you have to throw money at it. YOU DONT. Cheers.

    • @GreenAquaShop
      @GreenAquaShop  Před 5 lety

      Depend on what is your goal. The cheapest is still to trade off things on aquascaping forums, friends etc. You can grow plants without CO2 and nutrient rich substrate or high intensity light, but the result is completely different. So you need those extras to grow ANYTHING in it's best form. This is what you can not do with these budget tanks. Simple as that. Would makes more sense if you write next time pros and cons. It would be more helpful.

    Wow, so many people complained that you 'destroyed' the original aquascape. Can't blame them, taste is subjective! But from a designer's perspective, I find the old scape beautiful and relaxing, but wayy too generic. It's OK, but not a big fan of it. And I think they're mad that you squished bunch of perfectly healthy plant under the rock, haha! But the 'after' result is WOW! Great composition, amazing color scheme(the rocks, wood and dark buce add nice colours without being overwhelming) and overall just very dynamic and dramatic. Definitely prefer the after result. Original, refreshing and absolute chaotic beauty yet perfectly balanced. Amazing work, you definitely didn't destroy it in my opinion, you just upgraded it to a whole new level!

    • @GreenAquaShop
      @GreenAquaShop  Před 5 lety +1

      Thank you for your feedback. Glad you like the transition. The old layout needed a chance for sure. A rescape or a tweak. Sometimes a tweak is enough to bring some excitement and lift the tired tank to a new level. In our last video you can see how this evolved since the update: czcams.com/video/U-GIJLUER2Y/video.html probably to a better way :) Thank you for your words, we appreciate that. Thank you for your words 👍 We had mist film earlier but since the whole showroom is uniformized it would look different than the others. Jurijs video is great btw! 😀

    You are the best!! and all those beautiful aquariums that inspire me to make something good. I love your work!! All you are so amazing!! Can you share with us, the size of your tanks, what fertilizer are you using and how much you dosing??? Sorry for all the questions and hope you can understand me hehe. Cheers from Mexico City, and blessings!!!!

      Tank sizes are described in our videos mainly. On fertilizers we're using the ADA Brighty K and ADA Brighty Mineral 1ml/20L daily. Adding irons 2-3 times a week.

    I like it, but I loved it more before. But I think it'll shape in nicely. This tank and the one you tore down recently were my favorites. But I know how trimming the same rotalas after a year can feel. Need changes.
    Balazs your backwards ADA nano is also my favorite!!!!

    • @GreenAquaShop
      @GreenAquaShop  Před 5 lety

      Thanks Thomas for your words. Yup this tank was kind of an old one. We've started with a Solar RGB in our old showroom. Looked great there. We even moved to our new showroom. But we were at the point to re-scape it or give it another spin. Let"s see how this will develop after the quick change.👍

    looks good Balasz... curious about the rot of the plants under the rocks you dropped on them? what about all that detritis/sludge that would result?
    Took me 16 hours non stop yesterday to do my aquascape 🤪

    love the video and the boost. looks a lot different and in my opinion better afterwards. the glass ada cabinet looks sweet but how safe is it realistically? i always wondered. any comments about the cabinet?

    • @GreenAquaShop
      @GreenAquaShop  Před 5 lety +1

      Thank you for your feedback 👍 That clear cabinet is pretty good. But only works with a certain size for a reason. We use this one for over 5 years now i guess. No issues at all. 👍
