    I’ve been working on my bush. I tried some of your ideas and it’s really become a nice dense bush. I’ve even shown my friends how to grow and trim their bushes. Thanks

    do you plant rotala hra each stem individually or 4stem at once a bunch? and each, how far apart from another? because i have planted 4stem at once a bunch as instructed from somewhere, but the rotalas are struggling, lacking water flow, less exposed to light, black spots on leaf, and some algae,fuzz algae i think, but the grow is still there, but never reddish, my ludwigia mini super red is indeed super red, please help, thank you in advance

    Can you go over the different varieties of rotala and your opinions on which variety is better for a bush?
    I cant find any videos on different varieties of rotala. I'm trying to find which variety I prefer more and need a second opinion.
    And also how to make them grow vertically instead of all over the place.
    Thanks!

    I'm kinda new to this. Question: What becomes of the plants that were topped off? Will they continue to grow from there or just look like a headless plant?

    • @YoungXelDong
      @YoungXelDong Před 2 lety +1

      New leaves and stems will grow from there after 4 days, and you wouldn't notice the topped-off parts anymore. They grow so fast that im starting to get tired of cutting my rotala blood red every week

    • @simplycurlyde
      @simplycurlyde Před 2 lety

      @@YoungXelDong mine don't seem to be growing that fast. I think I cut them twice since I planted them about 1 1/2 yrs ago. I see that my water wisteria does grow new leaves at a joint (I don't know what it's actually called, it's where the roots come out of it, too), just below where I had cut it.

    Question, after 6-8 months, I get green hair algae in my stems bush, because under the healthy top it’s too shady and no flow. Any solutions? I see that Ada replant the whole bush when it’s too dense?

    • @aquascapegods
      @aquascapegods  Před 3 lety +4

      I've had that issue once before, after a big trim, I used a toothbrush to get all the algae out and then it didn't really come back. I've never replanted the whole bush before and don't think that's totally necessary but when you do water changes, you should be siphoning inside the bush if you're not scared of sucking up any shrimp or anything!

    • @Hellacop6
      @Hellacop6 Před 3 lety

      Aquascape Gods I’ll try the siphon trick next time, thank you!
