People may not grasp the legend and mystery that is Miles Davis. This is how incredible and unique Miami Vice was 'back in the day'. It drew the most eclectic of personas.

Considering the rather flamboyant comeback that Miles made during the early 80s it was naturally a perfect fit for him to be appearing in an episode of Miami Vice. Still, I would really like to know the back story. Unfortunately he doesn't mention it in his autobiography.

Even in the 80s, Miami Vice was iconic. Appearing on an episode was as highly regarded as appearing in a Marvel movie, today.
