Ive figured out why the intro and outro are jarring for some viewers - its a practical reason, the volume is relatively high compared to the talking and so is very loud (due to your great powerful voice) and even more noticeable with it being high notes - good day sir thankyou for your music and giving it to me

Well said about the honesty not being vicious. That is it exactly. Justin is honest and criticises constructively, it's never done to tear down. If anything I find he often emphasizes the positive. The world need more of this energy!

My dad booked us Darkness tickets for November, truthfully I wasn’t overwhelmed with excitement beforehand, having not listened to much of your music prior. All I can say is I left that gig in Bournemouth with a big smile on my face, not only was I amazed by your band’s performance, your vocals etc…but I left with an incredible memory, being out with my dad and sister, my first gig with them both, a memory I shall cherish forever. I can easily say I’m a big Darkness fan now, thank you Justin, your music and your CZcams channel has brought my dad and I closer, as we always talk about your videos whenever we video call each other! Fuck the haters.

I agree. Dont really know Justin's music but these broadcasts are really special. He is a natural communicator and has a wise perspective on so much.
Any time anyone hates on someone on the internet I see them as a keyboard warrior. They're only hating because they feel they're invulnerable because they think they're protected by that keyboard in front of them. No they're not, they're just dicks. If I dislike something, I ignore it and dont even comment on it. That's the normal way to do it. Justin is awesome. He has given me amazing music over the years, and I am hugely appreciated of that.

You rule man. You wrote "Open Fire". I mean, one of the best rock songs ever. Quick story, I was on tour with my own band about 5-6 years ago. The guitar player loves The Darkness. TBH I had only heard your hits about 12 years prior. In the back of the tour van I was back on the road, hadn't been since the mid 90s. He put on Open Fire and I was like "Dude, who the fuck is this?!" he said the Darkness. Overwhelmed with a sense of freedom and inspiration that song became our anthem on the road. We played it probably hundreds of times on long haul trips. So whenever I hear it now, it takes me back to that time.
I’ve been dealing with things like this all week in school, with people putting things on social media that’s unkind and it feels like banging heads on walls. I love to check in with you. I will just say thank you for coming onto CZcams. Love listening. Much love to you all!
My wife and I walked our dogs through Worthy farm today (Glastonbury festival site to those who don't know) and going past the Pyramid stage it reminded me of The Darkness opening the stage and blew everyone away! Keep up the good work fella and never change 😎👌

I think more people need to remember that he is a professional. And the way he criticizes is always in a professional manner. There is no sensationalism which is why I too love his commentary. I too have come to think about certain bands, or songs, differently afterwards and often in a more positive manner.
Justin is one of the best rock singer frontman going today! The Foo Fighters only wish they could write songs as good as the Darkness. Keep flying the true Hard Rock Flag!!

Love listening to you, Justin. Completely lost when you start going into technical music terms but you over-ride it with a rhythm and sincerity that's really engaging.
Well, from one perspective, those technical music terms i.e. music theory, are no different than - and this is especially true in my case - when he describes something using a French term. Both French and music theory are languages used to express ideas between individuals. And like most languages, one can pick up the basics of music theory pretty easily. Easier than the first steps into learning Russian, for sure. That shit makes no sense..

I like the channel. Most hatred on CZcams is just to get reaction and attention. I don't think most people care enough either way. That's why when you find something you really like you really keep it dear. There is less and less to like unfortunately, everything has become derivative of itself and become stale. Your channel is definitely different than most and fun too. So I hope you keep it up and let those who want to talk talk and then they can move on. Loving your vids. Can't say The Darkness shook up my world when you emerged in the early 2000s but I appreciated, and still do, that you play the genre you love and have a tongue firmly planted in the cheek doing so. Don't Let the Bells End is the LAST great Xmas song and everyone loves a low cut jumpsuit on a man. Elvis was the pioneer and you've taken it to the next level.
However, damning you with faint praise is not entirely why I am commenting. I wonder what your take is, as a rock 'purist', of Pixies and their influence on indie music and music as a whole? Be interested to know your opinion about my favourite band of all time.

I always downvote christmas song lists that don't include "christmas time" (unless they include fairytale of new york because that song might be one of the best christmassy/wintery songs ever written).

I really hate how the "success" of a band or artist is measured by and reduced to how much they're played on mainstream media. Every single one of my most beloved artists has more of a cult / niche following, and I like how myself and other fans have this little corner of the music world where we get to enjoy music that other people just don't understand. I think it's beautiful. :)
