Recently you may all know, me and my ex American husband recently got separated, this is our life moving forward. Trying to Redirecting our lives after the unprepared separation. After Separation i tried to take over because of some private reasons, i had to take over until its finished this beautiful Bungalow House called ( phoenix )

Hi all, my name is Catherine. intended to stay
in the background and hired Donna & Richard to
showcase my house which is known as the
Phoenix Build. This project is in collaboration
with Richard and Kanopinay Construction which
is owned by Donna. In all legal documents, this
house was under contract with Donna. Richard
is Donna's employee; nothing in the legal
documents for this project includes any
mention of Richard's name. However, I am also
aware that the construction equipment and
manpower were under both their names. When
we started, the goal was to collaborate with
Richard to introduce Western techniques in the
Philippines and to transfer knowledge to the
local workers. Sad to say the partnership must
end and we must pick up the pieces where he
left off. The workers are now under our
management. This project is 100% financed by
me. We are grateful for the skills that Richard
has contributed to building this house. The
workers have learned a lot from him. All the
workers had extensive experience beforehand,
but it was enhanced by him introducing new
techniques

This video came as a total surprise/shock, I didn't expect a construction/design video, I assumed it would be a video of you and Ella in your apartment or out and about with friends etc.
It was great by the way so well done you, you looked terrific, you were funny, but then you were the design side of the building homes and you were the vlogger right from the beggining so why wouldn't you have done this so brilliantly!
The buyer of this property asked you to choose and design Bali style furnishings and accessories for them didn't they? (my memory tells me that). So I take it this is why you are at the property and doing this one alone (well not quite but without you know who) because they need updates and so do we.

Can you please update the outside of your sold home. Richard said from his previous vlog that he was going to show the finished product of the outside in 2 weeks but he didn’t pull through. I know it’s sold but can u ask the new owners if you could show your audience the completed work. It would be nice to see since I watched your vlogs when u started building your 2 Storey home. Thanks

Hi. Make sure that you have a notarized contract and that you don't give the money all at once to the contractor. Ask for the bill of materials & give money in stages (upon completion of a certain stage). The channels of Ingeniero TV and Architect Ed have good vids re: house building in PH. The vids are mostly in Tagalog but with English subtitles (esp for Ingeniero TV - he's now in Dubai but he practiced In PH before). Good luck in your house build!

@@herbertooneill3033 I agree with you re: Richard. Anyway, re: your house build, pay the contractor in stages (progress billing). Include everything in the contract & ask a lawyer to go over it & notarize it. You'll spend a bit more for the lawyer but you'll have better protection. There have been many cases of
contractors not honoring their agreements, even if the contractor was a friend/ relative of the client.
Example is the K Brosas house build. She's an actress & singer in PH. Accdg to the news report, she gave 7M pesos fo her contractor-friend for the house build but the contractor didn't finish it. She filed a case against him but the justice system in PH is very slow. (You can Google her story). Good luck!

Looking good. You have the talent for this. Hope you can take the exam equivalency ng elementary and High school. Dito sa US, and tawag doon ay GED and the HiSET. I'm sure meron din sa Pinas. Pag nai pasa mo, pwede kang magtake ng architect courses kahit online. Meron din certification siguro para mas mabilis. However, as long as you know how to properly manage people and the work and have real architect/engineer to inspect at may foreman na marunong mag basa ng blueprint, that's what you need. Mas maigi rin kung alam mo mismo and magbasa ng blueprint to make sure na alam mo ang mga size requirements at tama ang mabili. Goodluck and I wish you well.

Here is the part of the story about Love between a filipina and a Foreigner that most don't understand. A foreigner doesn't have to have money but it's important to know his background and work History...here is the RED FLAG...Richard has a bad work history and was living with his ex-wife at the time he met Donna. He was working a job that paid for his Hotel stay but he was HOMELESS....BIG RED FLAG...and He married Donna online...BIG RED FLAG...here is the issue that people don't see ..there are some men who marry a filipina because they burn their bridges in the US..They can't find anyone else who will believe their LIES...it has nothing to do with a filipina being a better Wife .. it's a matter of convenience...there is a difference between a man saying " I want to marry a filipina" and a man saying " a filipina can deal with my BS " ..A LOSER can Hide in the Philippines because no one knows about his past..but a CON ARTIST can never Stop being a CON ARTIST no matter what Country he is in

Another vlogger Bryan Does Vlog, his supposedly fiancé he loved with cancer passed away, he used her cancer to get sympathy from clueless viewers that supported him through many accts, before she passed away he dated a katulong’s daughter next door and partied the night away complete with karaoke, she died with a broken heart, he left children in the USA as well …living off the CZcams income partly that accumulated subscription and donations through the fiancé’s sickness….very sad

If logistics where given in the very beginning of the split. There would not have been so much drama. Maybe the drama pushed Richard to do the right thing. Maybe it helped Donna get a lawyer and know her rights. But now I see the house. Think- crap. I sent money and it looks like Donna will be just fine

This version is way better because of the materials and additional ideas from architect and owners this design is better than first house. Hi Donna,kindly ask your architect/engineer which is better to use for counter tops and backsplash,quartz or granite?(no marble it's porous) it is such a dilemma for me,thank you.
@@liliasalazar9597 my husband and I doing house renovation in Australia, granite is way better than quartz because granite is natural stone. The problem with quartz is if you make scratch by dropping sharp knife or damage from hot pans the damage is not easy to fix. Actually now a days Quartz is officially banned in Australia due to health side effects from the dust.
