This video is about the game of Diplomacy, an American strategic board game created by Allan B. Calhamer in 1954 based on the European Great Powers in the years leading up to World War I. The game was the favorite of John F. Kennedy and Henry Kissinger. Seven (7) players control the respective powers of England, France, Germany, Austria, Italy, Russia, and Turkey and fight for world domination (control over Europe), using negotiations, diplomatic skill, tactics, and grand strategy to establish covert deals, attack mutual enemies, and backstab established allies. A "stab" is the word for betraying your ally.
TL;DR: Diplomacy is basically Risk without the dice, or chess with seven players on a world map.

Turkey here. My lack of support orders in the beginning was partly a time issue. Austria and I talked about going AT late into negotiations, but I was short on time and didn't punch in support for the bounce. Later on I didn't support Russia into Bud because I surmised it was unnecessary because Austria seemingly left it open on purpose for Russia as a way to punish me. Same with other moves involving Italy. Once I stabbed Austria, they resolved to make sure I'd get as few of their centers as possible compared to Italy and Russia. I was OK with that knowing it would take the heat off me, in combination with the strong FG moving so quickly that IR couldn't really turn around on me without great risk from the west.

Interesting. In any case, an impressively played game and tournament! Congratulations on the win!
