  • The history of Bantu migration is weaponized against black people through the education system ,justice system and political system to make black people in Southern Africa invaders like the western colonisers and justify the ongoing land dispossession by the colonizers.

I think we should take it apon ourselves to take initiatives in finding out our own truth of our own place in the whole family tree right from Noah and his three sons; Joseph, Ham, Shem. I recently grew interest in this because I have reading a lot about origin of the surnames that we have today and the stories were quite interesting, but there were a lot of un-similarities of information from different sources. I like like the fact that other young people like me are also taking interest in knowing their real roots. Nice presentation brother, and thanks for the wake up call. I also have a lot of questions myself about the whole migration from up the North. After all, we must remember that the media is controled.

  • @mukodoborijakafiriri8698

A tribe is NOT based on genetics as the western historians like the world to so believe. A tribe is mainly linked by language NOT DNA.

Every single real bantu know their history and most of us know that we all came from the north wast of africa. Only some south africans because not all say they always have been in south africa and we know why they say that. Even the famous khoi sans migrated because their origins where in Tanzania. Africans always migrated. But one thing is sure khoisans and bantus are blacks and south africa is also the land of bantus.
Its sad that some bantus do not know their history. But am glad like some bantus know their history. I am a bantu from congo and my tribe came from southern africa and came to the Congo to create our empire. We always migrated back and forth. Period

Dr please pay close attention because this very simple any word you export to the land of my people and attach to the false narrative brought by the west does not end in anyone being part of any tribe here and it is very important to understand that . The overwhelming DNA and linguistic evidence shows a migration of the bantu-speakers from the broader Niger-Congo language family out of west africa. It should not be seen as a controversial idea. People migrate throughout history, and the idea that the vast array of modern bantu languages that we see in Africa happened to just spawn from nowhere into where they are presently spoken is illogical and unscientific. It is just a factor of history that people who practice agriculture, like the bantu, almost unanimously win out against hunter-gatherers like the San. You can see this not just in Africa but every other continent as well.

Your comments of Bantu Migration are sadly naive and uninformed. I'm Khoisan. One drop of human blood tells more about our human history than all the libraries combined in the world. Regions are genetically compartmentalized. Khoisan and Bantu is genetically different. In the same way as Indians and Chinese and Russians are from the same continent - but genetically, they not the same people. Bantu's have migrated from the North to the South. Bantu's are Agrarian people. They moved where there was land to grow food. Conflict and displacement around land ownership and occupation drove people out of Central Africa. Our own history in South Africa must be informed and truthful.

The Bantu migration is not a political construct. It is historical fact. Supported by linguistic, anthropological, and DNA evidence.
Unfortunately, Africa crippled itself long before whites set foot in sub-Sahara. Black Africans captured and sold each other into slavery to the Arab Muslims--able-bodied young men and women, by the millions and millions--for nearly a thousand years prior to Europeans even getting involved. This is also historical fact.
Nigerian scholar Tunde Obadina's excellent essay, "The Slave Trade: A Root of Contemporary African Crisis" (2000) is a must-read.

75,000 yrs old pyramids in South Africa is proof enough for us to know that Europeans are telling their usual lies those pyramids are aligned with the onse in Khemet Gezer plato & those pyramids can not have built them with a population of 10 million people.
European settlers are tell8ng absolute lies because we can just look at our women's traditional dress the beeded necklaces & high hats proving that we Bantu are the authors of both the pyramids in Khemet & the onse in South Africa which are far older than those of Khemet Egypt so, you are correct the Europeans are trying to take us for fools & the other argument is that the khoi/ San people are the first nation but they are nomadic & could not have built the pyramids.

Eish mfo this is a confusing presentation....you ask why the migration of abantu is taught in schools? Well, think about it like this... Have u ever been to a family family funtion ezindaweni zasemakhaya after a long time in the city? What is the first thing u ask your brother and sisters? Where have u been? How did u get here? According to my undetstanding all our human ancestors came from from east and west Africa over 60 000 years ago....so when I as a fair skinned human meet u, my dark skinned brother in our new home in South Africa I ask: mfo uvelaphi? Tell me how u got here to the party? That's all. It's as simple as that...

Everyone in the world should have land rights in Africa, because all humans came from Africa originally. The Bantu came from upper Africa and took some land from the Bushmen who were the first in South Africa (the Khoi came after the Bushmen by the way). Then the Europeans (not Americans) took some of the land from the Bantu and the San. But to say the Bantu only have land rights in South Africa because they come from Africa, is like saying only the French have land rights to the whole of Euroasia. Your argument doesn't stand. I'm not saying we should all share land, I am saying that South Africans are tired of the lies that the Bantu didn't take land from the San (and from the Khoi), and telling South Africans that the Bantu were the first people in South Africa. They weren't. These lies are just as bad as the wars between the Bantu and San / Khoi, the wars between the Bantu themselves, and the wards between the Europeans and the Bantu / San / Khoi. It is all greed, and all parties are to blame, except the Bushmen, who were in South Africa first. They are the only innocent ones. Please check your history, genetics and anthropology.
