Means those gods must have not been that powerful after all right? Jesus Christ endures because he is the truth. As a child of both indigenous Nicaraguan and Jamaican immigrants, I have always felt that traditional Christianity was not telling the whole truth and was filled with false narratives and biased interpretations. As I become more aware and conscious, I have developed a growing urge to learn more about my origins and it’s relationship to spirituality and divinity. I have taken it upon myself to become educated and search for my truth. Thank you for sharing this information with us all as it allows us to have the correct information and allows us to become more in tune and aware of our natural extension of the divine. ✊🏾

Maaaan, I couldn't have said it any better. I have been trying to figure out how to explain or put into words my spiritual journey recently. The more I read or listen to the Bible and put some real thought into it & religion, particularly Christianity, the more I feel like something is not right. There's a lot that doesn't make sense. There's something they're not telling us. Something they don't want us to know. The more I feel deceived and manipulated. Perhaps there's a lot they don't know but instead of saying they don't know they just made up some stuff to fill in the blanks. All of this leads me to want to know what was the religion, beliefs, traditions, culture, language and even diet of my people before the Trans-Atlantic slave trade.

I responded because I would like to reply about your comment about finding your own truth and ask, what good is that pursuit in your opinion if it does not lead to a proper faith and worship of God? Would you rather still choose an ancestral tradition or what is comfortable to you over what is true?
History reveals what this looks like when we desire to establish our own faith and worship without proper knowledge of the Divine. From the OT times to the 20th century God has shown us we cannot do this and desires us to repent for having done so as the scripture tells us, ("Men of Athens i preceive you are very religious. For I passed along and observed the objects of your worship I found also an altar with the inscription, 'to the unknown God', What therefore you worship as unknown this i proclaim to you."). & ("the times of ignorance God overlooked, but now he commands all people everywhere to repent because He has fixed a day on which he will judge the world in righteousness by a man whom he has appointed and of this he has given assurance to all by raising him from the dead.").
Though I agree God has made all men everywhere able to seek Him... ("That they should seek the Lord, if haply they might feel after him, and find him, though he be not far from every one of us:") ...and acknowledge God exists without knowing the Bible or being a 'Christian' or the practice of spiritualism...( "By faith we understand that the universe was created by the word of God so what is seen was not made out of things that are visible.") .... (" For His invisible attributes namely his eternal power and divine nature have been clearly perceived ever since the creation of the world in the things that have been made..").
But then there is still the question, what are we to do with this understanding of the Divine? Do we randomly call upon nature or spirits as we please to feel a 'connection' with our environment or Creator? Are we to follow our own ideology and/or traditions over what is natural? no. But there is good news, the good news is that we can know and align ourselves to the Divine in a way He calls for ...(Jesus said, "I am the way the truth and the life no one comes to the Father except through Me") & (Repent and be baptized everyone of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit").
The Bible reveals that we are spiritually dead without Christ and stand before God as guilty sinners and that's where the good news of the Gospel comes in to reconcile us back to a relationship with our Divine Creator since God desire those who desire to worship Him must do so in Spirit and truth. That's only accomplished through faith in Jesus Christ.. "And there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.” .. "For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek."
I'm at a loss for words. Idk why I became curious about African spirituality but i resonate with everything he said. I was taught to think that African spirituality is evil and primitive. But itsvthe exact opposite. This just made me want to dive deeper😭

This absolutely incorrect. Egyptians were a science based people. Only once their tombs were raided, books were burned, and science was stolen did any of this speculation come about.

This world system is designed to make the masses believe in a one world society when it comes to everything we have been taught. As I get older I am learning to question many things . When you are seen as a person that does not conform to the system you become a target to be ridiculed , mocked, and punished. The system has brainwashed the masses and therefore one can stick out very easily. I have been this way for as long as I can recall. I thank the Most High for his devine works in me. I have stumbled and fallen. However, by the grace of Yah, I regain a pathway back to the truth. I have aways desired knowledge and truth. I rejected what is wrong. Therefore because of my views I am usually alone in my stance. This is because I do not think, act and behave as the majority. The majority of people are sick, sad, envious, and evil people. That goes for the variety of hues among us. Therefore, you can’t assume that someone that looks like you is in agreement with your beliefs. I just hope and pray that the will of the Most High prevails in the end. That one day that all this mayhem is never no more. We are living in crucial times. May the will of Yah’s be done. Wow, this hit particularly hard for me because I practice some of the beliefs highlighted in this video without having known a prior African ancestry. I find religion alone fascinating, but always identified as Spiritual with core belief in being an expression of Divine Source, receptive of vibration, respectful of nature, and cosmic energy. Teach! ...to those of us who are seekers. I missed your lecture when you were in Houston.
I’m also a seeker too and I realized quite recently that your spirituality has a lot to do with your environment, culture and tradition. We were deceived by those who colonized us that our traditions were fetish and their religion was superior to our traditions. Come to think of it, the same people that brought us Christianity were the same people that enslaved us, how can we trust this people? I come from a place in Nigeria where people can stop the rain from Falling if there is an important occasion. They just need say a few words and make some Incantations and in no time the rain would stop if it was already falling. So how is this practice fetish? Since my years of being a Christian I never saw a pastor or a bishop stop a rain from falling even with all the anointing they claim to have.. so I know that something is wrong somewhere. We were being fooled! This same people stole a lot of our ancestral artifacts which they claim was fetish. Lately I’ve been trying to reconnect with my roots. I come from a place surrounded by water, so I think my Orishas dwell in the water.

If enlightenment is your goal this is a terrible class. It’s not a toy and it’s not even something to be glorified or a goal to be attained it’s just basic human existence and should be taught to children not sold for money like a prostitute.
