Who else loves Clawboss?
quit commenting this you do it every video we get it already
FR Its getting old. The reason we watch his videos is because we like him.
In my school district that I aide at, we have our own petrol station. One is diesel and the other gas. Drivers usually have to wait in a line which stinks, so they try to do it after a run or early in the morning. It takes 3 mins for the bus to get filled. A private company delivers petrol to the depot.
now that i think about it i have NEVER seen a bus refuel
Clawboss, if you could spec a bus out in ANY way you want if you had unlimited money, what would you choose and do?
Ex: IC-CE With cummins, black side rails, chrome wheel covers, etc.
Please make a video about this, love the videos! :D
Love the videos from the uk London
That makes me think, don’t you have to shut all vehicles off at a gas station when you fill up? Idk if they do that there in NJ. I thought you have to since at every gas station here in Washington State, I always see everyone else turning their vehicle off before pumping the gas. So I thought that was a law with all vehicles at all gas stations.
Clawboss have you seen what def does to aluminum rims it actually eats them
2 ways we get fuel.
#1 is during the school year a truck goes around to all the lots every other night. usually that is enough.
#2 is two pumps at the garage, or other pumps at other company garages. A fuel fob comes with every bus, but if yours isn't working call a mechanic at the conveniently located garage right next to you or in my garages case borrow the fob from the spare buses parked next to the fuel area.
DEF is filled by the shop if you turn in the correct form one a week.
Propane buses get nightly fuel and gas buses get a fuel card.
Also don't hate on DEF systems, they are the reason you don't have to walk through clouds of blue and black smoke during your pre-trip. Buses are way cleaner than they used to be even 15 years ago.
boss 0of claws
Nah forget that..I park my bus and they have a couple drivers who fuel them all up. I come back in the afternoon and it's nice and full :D
We have a fuel island in our yard we use. Have to type odometer and employee ID into the pump station. Each bus has a unique card
You drive any gas buses?
Dude the EPA is totally harshing my mellow
We have a fuel storage tank at my facility. One of the sub drivers fuels the buses each day. Each driver calls out to be put on the board for fuel when they get near half tank. We normally only fuel between the AM and PM routes, but sometimes the driver is able to fuel before the AM shift. We also make sure each bus is fueled up before any field trips. Most of our buses have hundred-gallon tanks but we have a few that only have fifty gallons. We don't allow the buses with smaller tanks on out-of-town field trips.
Everyone wants to see def
you just shake it off because you know thats what men do. just shake it off. excuse me in 2023 anyone can shake it off XD Happy New Year!
i thought you cant pump your own gas in jersey
Go to a gas station to get diesel early in the morning before route or late in the evening after route. I chose early in the morning because of less car in the way.
Thought New Jersey didn’t allow you to pump your own fuel?
Considering he likes to overfill the tanks, probably good that new jersey forbids idiots from fueling their own vehicles.
We have our own diesel and def at the yard there’s maintenance guys that fuel ⛽️ our buses when we drive up and we give them only the bus mileage and they have cards with bus numbers and they get and put in mileage we tell and they fill the bus ..
Our school that I work at owns our buses and we have our own fuel station.
We do not contract out. We actually need drivers right now a hundred dollars a day a plus incentive
It's bad to top off the tank after it clicks once
To be filled
Most of are fleet is unleaded gasoline and we have pumps at our base
