Used this video to replace the belt on my Hoover VHV 68C vented dryer. It is a tiny bit different at the bottom though. There's 2 screws at the front holding the v-shapped vent at the bottom onto the front drum support and one underneath at the front. Then it's the same process to remove the front drum support.
Thanks for the video, perfect 👍🏼

Thanks for video! Just changed the belt on a Candy.
Thought it would be easy, but found that the right jockey wheel was stuck and the belt had eaten halfway through it. Made a new one from an empty fishing line roll.

hi,my tumble dryer wont turn over unless you do it by hand i.e with the lid off but the belt seem's tight and with no damage to it,can the motor loose enough power not to turn the drum over? vtc 781nbbc 8kg

+Dj Morgan The problem is likely to be the motor capacitor. We have diagnosis videos like : How to Diagnose Tumble Dryer Motor and Noise Problems: czcams.com/video/u6614TVugVc/video.html
And a video showing replacing the part on another make: czcams.com/video/Vd8DcQpk748/video.html
To replace the capacitor mounted on the motor watch another video:

Hi , I have the exact model of Hoover dryer and when we switch it on to spin it clicks as if it is about to start spinning but then nothing happens. After about 10 seconds I can detect a faint electrical wire smell seemingly coming out from the top of the dryer. Do you have any idea what it may be ?? Thanks

Hi John, your problem is likely to be the motor capacitor as described in this video: czcams.com/video/Vd8DcQpk748/video.html
To access and replace you will need to remove the drum as the capacitor is attached to the motor so see this video:
      czcams.com/video/oHA0ZRt9AUM/video.html

Hi Rachel, this is a condenser dryer, Hoover and Candy vented dryers are also very similar to replace the belt.
