Not one English manager has won the English Premier League. What's the problem.
Place top English Managers at all the Big Six Clubs and one of them will win it but they don't get the opportunity.
@@Chitapool-cr2iiGraham Potter, Frank Lampard, Harry Redknapp, Roy Evans, Glenn Hoddle. All had chances at top 6 clubs and failed.
@@Chitapool-cr2iiđđ what a stupid analogy, if you put an English manager in charge of each of the top clubs then of course one of them would win it itâd be impossible not to
@PeterOates-es3ve
The Premier League is NOT a new league, itâs a rebranding.
But the last time an English manager won the English league title was back in 1992.
I think English managing has failed to change with the times and evolve.
â@@martinelliott4859 Name that English manager
He will get his chance at Liverpool, the fans will give him a chance.
We all look for pattern recognition, it's normal; how many Dutch managers have won stuff in Englandâœ
But there's been only one German, one Portuguese, one French, one Spaniard and one Chilean, with the Italians having four different winners. And 0 of every other nation, obviously including Dutch. But these are not reasons to go by for hiring a manager/coach. Only Van Gaal took over a team who had any chance of winning, so it's not a well-rounded point to avoid Dutch managers.
Hmm.
No Portuguese manager had won the EPL before Mourinho won it in his first season, and he wasn't a 'big name' before he did it.
A few managers have won the EPL in their first season, from countries that have never supplied a manager that has won it, coming from weak leagues - Wenger came from Japan and won the double in his first season.
Also, apart from Italy and Scotland, no nation has more than one manager that has won the EPL.
Frankly, the 'no Dutch manager has won the EPL' argument is childish.
Fully agree with you !! ...pay no attention to the fake Liverpool supporters YNWA đ
It could be possible everything is possible at Liverpool itâs a magic legendary club âš
Donât you mean serial losers?

Its amazing how everyone is a football expert. The bloke hasn't even been announced yet and people think they know how he and his team will do.
That's cos they no nothing !! đ€Ąđ€Ąđ€Ą
A good summer break and a reset will do wonders for Liverpool.. They have overachieved considering the budget.. And that is down to Jurgen klopp performing miracles.
He is inheriting a team that would likely be winning it comfortably this season if not for losing half their team for months on end and VAR robbing of them of at least 7 points. There is every chance he could win it.
Iâm a Liverpool fan but I donât agree with this, we were lucky in a lot of games. The luck was always going to run out when going 1-0 down most games and coming back. Not been good enough defensively and also not been taken our chances so we are about where we deserve to be. Some work to be done to be title challengers again
your logic is stupid, its like saying my brother would be called Danielle is he was born a girl. Injuries happen to every club. its down to luck and how your medical team work with the coaches and var again happens to everyone, var has been terrible this season. just face it liverpool aint as great as everyone makes out. yes their starting 11 are top 3 side but no depth. where city has a top 4 bench pretty much. no comparison.
@@antmanandthecod6073 I would agree with you to a point, we did somewhat overachieve early on, but you can't really say we have a bad defence, it hasn't been great but it's 3rd best in the league only just behind City, the attack has been poor but I think the midfield took a while to bed in and then like every other position, we kept getting them injured so no consistency. I don't think we've managed to field the same team twice this whole season, the injuries really stumped our development this year.
So then he goes and wins a treble in his 1st season lmao
We need to talk about 100 pounds to watch football every month and people on minimum wage can't afford so next season will watch highlights it disgusting
Even the Great PeP did not win it first time
No German had won the EPL before Klopp. No Spaniard won it before Guardiola. This is a silly line of reasoning.
When did a English man win the Premier league
When they get their chance at big clubs they flop disgracefully Porter/Chelsea, Hodgson/Liverpool, Gerrad/Villa, Lampard/Chelsea and so onđđ

Nobody outside of the top 6 can be ruled out for challenging the next season, we've seen it plenty of times
Have we? Only Liverpool and Arsenal have threatened to take the title off City, with Liverpool being successful one time. Otherwise itâs been pretty much plain sailing for Pep.

More chance he finishes outside of CL places tbh
Exactly
50% chance Liverpool finishes 3rd or 4th next season, 25% chance they win the league, 25% chance they finish outside the top 4.
Liverpool will be stronger than they have been for thr past couple of years as klopp has run out of steam.
You are delusional đ
Being less predictable could make a difference but the transfer window will be important, no new dm no trophies
Yeah right đ€Ł If you have seen Liverpool win the champions league in 2005 with that squad anything is possible with that club. Literally this season they won a league cup final with a C team
Here we go Klopp was rubbish the new guy is the best, what a bunch of hypocrites
@@bobofett3966 ha I don't see anybody saying that Klopp is rubbish I'm going be Klopp actual words he was ready to quit last season he wife persuaded him to stay another year. Which means that he hasn't been firing on all cylinders for the past couple of years. Surely a fresh talented manager with with a point to prove will only make Liverpool a better team than they are now.
The biggest problem is the english press.a shower of creeps
I'm a liverpool fan but he ain't winning the league in his 1st season.pep and klopp didn't even win it in their 1st year.with pep and arteta it's going to be hard.we'll need time and time will tell how good he is
LOL, who would be stupid enough to claim Slot will win the PL in his first season? Not even the most deluded Liverpool fans expect that. I think he'll do very well if Liverpool finish in top 4, but I wouldn't be surprised if Liverpool finish 6th or even lower. I remember that it took Klopp two whole seasons to get Liverpool going, and it took Ferguson even longer to get MU going.
Iâm a Liverpool fan and worried with Slot another Dutch manager.
Letâs hope he knows ballers like Klopp and AlonsoâŠboth identify underrated world-beating players; Wijlandum, Alisson, Origi, Robertson, Salah, Mane, Henderson, Gomez, Jota, Diaz
Moot point; what Dutch manager could possibly have won it? They have mostly been at below top-4 clubs. Only Van Gaal imo
Not a moot point, plenty of Dutch managers in premier league with little success
@@jakehowie442 It's a moot point because they were mostly lowly appointments. Who could have had success?
Plenty of Dutch managers have had great success abroad; Rijkaard, Van Gaal, Michels, Beenhakker, Cruyff.
All your points are moot and out of date. Name one Dutch manager who has won a European trophy in last years, or Premier League
@@jakehowie442 Why would I name something that hasn't happened✠Nor did I claim it happened. Ten Haag won Carabou and finished top 3 with a shite utd in first season, which is pretty decent tbf, but that's not my point. My point is, is that there were no big vacancies.
Interesting question would be: why would Johnny Rep, who is from Feyenoord's arch rivals Ajax, make such a bold statement about the current manager of Feyenoord knowing the history of Dutch managers in the very competitive PL so far? He is not delusional nor is he underestimating the PL, I know this for sure. So, why?
If it had been xabi alonso, after what hes done at leverkusen, then probably but theres not many out there doing things like that
I've never once heard Ally McCoist back Liverpool in anything ever
Funny how they're trashing on the Dutch league and questioning managers from other leagues, the only 2 managers that have won the league having previous managerial experience in England were Kenny Dalglish, Claudio Ranieri and Jose Mourinho returning to Chelsea, the rest of them came from other leagues lol
That's because the big clubs never give young English managers a chance. How many English managers in recent history can U remember at any of the big 6. Roy hodgson at Liverpool and redknapp at spurs are the only ones I can recall.

Slot could win the SPL in his 1st season , if he managed either of the Old Firm. (Even Ally could though)
Only Tuchel won the Champion league in his first season at Chelsea. That's too the 2nd part of that season.
We Liverpool fans have no such expectations in Slot's first season. A top four finish will still be a minimum but anything else would be a bonus. These "claims" coming from certain quarters are not real Liverpool fans or people with football knowledge.
Liveroool fans, are you 100% pumped for this , or is it abit of a lacklustre/ anticlimactic signing??
Pumped, mate.
Very rich when you realize since 1992 no English manager has won the premier league. So I think it's like a pot calling kettle black situation.
No chance
It really does my head in how people judge managers that aint even played one match or dont know anything or very little about them really ie give the bloke a chance and see what happens thats all as for the dutch managers argument well law of averages says eventually one will do a great job at some point possibly I hope as a lfc fan that man will be arne slotđ€ it is kind of glossed over that even arguably the best manager of all time didnt win the premier league title in his first year either pep guardiola finised third so clearly it aint easy is it surely slot winning the title in his first season would be a massive over achievement if and its a big if it actually happensđ€
As a Feyenoord supporter i can tell you this. Be patient give him time and you will all see who Arne is. Everybody is gonna love Arne.
Thatâs mental. No one says heâs gonna win it first time. I do t think he will win it ever. I just want him to keep us as a top 4 team consistently until a better manager is available
He is a stop gap..Alonso coming in 2025 , if Real don't get him that is.
@@sugoshiyer1540 real will get Alonso itâs just garunteed at this point. He wants to stay at Leverkusen for 1 more years⊠coincidence ancelotti has 1 year left on his contract ? I think not
4 managers in the last 32 years have won a league title in their very first season in the English league.
Jose Mourinho in 04/05
Carlo Ancelotti in 09/10
Manual Pellegrini in 13/14
Antonio Conte in 16/17
4 managers have done it in the last 32 years.
Iâm not saying itâs likely, because itâs not obviously, but it can be done.
But then again thatâs Chelsea and Man City we are talking about, who both basically bought the league.
Funny enough the two most successful managers in the English League the last 32 years both didnât win it in their first seasons.
It took Pep 2 years to win it, and it took Ferguson 7 years to win it.
Kenny dalglish as a player manager was the last liverpool manager to do it in 1985/86 season.
The one who brought that subject had nothing to talk about
You should know by now, heâs the best manager in the world (even though most have never heard of him) because anyone that enters that club automatically becomes the best.đ
meaningless discussion regarding nationality of EPL winning managers.
So he does speak english like every dutch person and every other Dutch manager that worked in the prem
No one thinks that, is just they are trying to put pressure on Liverpool by upping the expectations
Vincius, declan Rice, haaland , Bellingham, and Saliba must be brought in immediately.
It's very very difficult for any manager to win the league, regardless of which country they come from, due to the first Chelsea, then City, financial stranglehold. Pellegrini is from Chile so does that mean Chilean managers can be trusted with a title shot? Shoddy tabloid journalism. Actually Hiddink and Koeman did very decent jobs in their stints in the Prem and with a bigger club/better luck they could easily have been title-winning managers. The fact that Ten Hag is an embarrassing failure of a manager has nothing to do with him being Dutch!
speaking english is a great skill to have coming to the premier league ..
But can he speak scouse? đ
Ali, several so called Liverpool (Stars) need to leaveâŠ. There weak and gutlessâŠ.. and I am a Liverpool fan
Liverpool need a big rebuild in the summer. Salah's probably going in the summer, Van Dijk is the wrong side of 30, Robertson's 30 and doesn't seem to affect matches like he used. The midfield isn't really good enough and their bench sometimes looks thin.
Paul Tierney, Michael Oliver and Simon Hooper will make sure that never happens.
So he speaks English. So does Guardiola and Arteta đ
Better English than Van Gaal and Ten Hag but that is not a big achievement to be honest đ
I remember somebody saying that about Tin Pot Hag!
As a Liverpool fan and fan of the premier league not being funny but I canât see how anyone can overtake city unless the get relegated
We would hit the jackpot if Arnies slot machine win the league in the first season. The house always wins so Pep better get used to it
Amorim > Slot
Great P.R work for a relatively unknown! Let's see it for what it is a hopeful gamble.
No english men nor many other countries men either have won the premier league
Only possible if Liverpool go on a wild quality shopping spree. Defender & No 6 & Striker needed urgently
Not even possible
Liverpool wonât get top 4 and that was 33-1 the other week easy money

Iâm an optimistic Liverpool fan at the best of times, but I canât see him dislodging Guardiola in what will likely be his last season in the Premier League. Artetaâs Arsenal will be even stronger next year after a summer spend as well.
Wonât be Peps last season he will sign for another 2
@@bobofett3966 He lives on his lonesome in a flat in Manchester whilst his wife is in Barcelona. I canât see him signing a new deal. Thereâs nothing more for him to achieve at Manchester City.
Of course he wont do that, does anyone think that will happen, not one single Liverpool supporter does, we hope it happens but first seasons are normally hard for first time managers
Itâs gonna take him 3 r 4 years b4 he will even Challenge as a Liverpool fan he has to build his own side n implicates his Style look at jurgen example five year
Exodus, you keep using that word. I'm not sure it means what you think it means.
If Liverpool make top 6 next year that would be success. There isnt a Top 4 or a Top 6 anymore but rather a Top 8. And if you are just slightly off you drop points. From a Liverpool Fan.
That what people were saying before this season started. 3-4 good transfers and we can compete again.
Sorry pal, 6th will never be a success for liverpool.the fans will give him the time though
