keep in mind straight is seen as the default, people calling out how people forget different hair textures/styles exist and completely fine. makes no sense to try and say “oh well she didn’t have enough time so she just did straight hairstyles” when that makes no sense at all lmao.

This picrew is so good, especially considering the time crunch! If you do expand it in the future, I recommend including common black hairstyles like a shaved head, locs, cornrows, Afro puff (poofy hair with shaved sides), etc. I know that if I manage to make it past the often limited black skin tones, the hair is usually the next thing that forces me to just close the page. I’ve noticed a fair bit of picrews have hijabs and other head coverings as well. And a personal request is the villain eyebrows that have a spike at the top 😈

most picrews have eyebrow options right after the eye options, which i think would make it easier to put together expressions for people who use the picrew :) also if you could put the eyebrows over the bangs it would help with making them look like they exist

the skin tones actually go very dark but there’s only 2 white skin tones and one is really pale and one is very tan.. completely agree with the hair though
As a Black person Brown skin is more than dark brown and a semi light brown. There could be more of a range if she chose to update. I’m sorry that I’m not particularly concerned about the lighter skin tones, but there’s rarely any diverse skin tones in piccrews for Black and Brown people :/
I tested it out and it was pretty fun! A couple of layering/clipping issues here and there but I hope to see you build on it! ( a personal request for me is a mid tone between the lightest dark tone and darkest light tone if that makes sense 😅 as well as a little variation on some skin details to work with multiple skin tones) I love all the hair colours tooooo the gradients were definitely worth it!
Here are some ideas! -hijab - more clothes - pigtails -more backgrounds -curly hair That’s all I could come up with but they’re just some ideas I had in mind.
as a picrew regular, I will say the picrew that you finished felt real cute and tiny but I had no idea how much work went into these things. I really hope you add more to it because there's so much potential

I've been seeing a some stuff about this that made me want to write this lengthy rant, it's pretty over the place and disorganized,,, it's really funny how chronically online people have been to act like making an uncompleted or missing some stuff in a picrew is a hate crime??????? Y'all acting as if it's done and no longer updated, bruh even in her pinned comment she asked for suggestions on what she can add more in the future, keep in mind that making a picrew can be time consuming and plus she had a 24 hour limit. yes diversity is important but it rubs me the wrong way when people force it in an aggressive way. it really bugs me when people say "WELL WHY DIDN'T SHE BOTHER DOING THIS AND THAT FIRST" things like those can easily slip from your mind. we're people. we don't remember everything. make your own picrew if don't like the one she made or find ones that you like. of course you're allowed to like and dislike it and voice your opinion idc but complaining and bitching about how she didn't add or prioritize this or that and then suddenly she's problematic for not adding it reminds me an artist who had to private their picrew link because people were bitching there wasn't enough added, this is one of the reasons why I found a part of the picrew community kinda toxic, they complain about not having enough stuff in a certain picrew not realizing it takes time. sincerely and finally, go touch some grass and grip it hard because y'all need it

I'd like a few more lighter skin tones between the 2nd and 3rd as the 2nd is way lighter than most people's and the 3rd too dark (talking about people with light skin tones). Other than that it's amazing!

I think it looks amazing right now, but I do feel like more things could be added if you ever plan to add more in the furture. Some things to add might be darker skin tones, different head shapes, eye shape options, curly hair/coily hair options, and maybe more masuline options in case anyone wants to make a masculine character. usually the ads shouldn't be that bad or nsfw at all but if you need to block them you can try and find an ad blocker! (I don't use one so there is none i can recommend unfortunately)

Love the picrew! Your art style is always so fun. As per the rest of the comments, would love to see a wider variety of skin tones and hair textures :D I'm brown skinned w curly hair, so most picrews have nothing that looks like me haha. Your picrew has a skin tone that is a fair bit lighter than me and one that's a fair bit darker right next to each other, but I understand you could only fit so many in the time crunch. Something I haven't seen mentioned as a suggestion is different colors for the blush!! I love having blush-y characters, but the blush is such a light-pinky color that on darker complexions it looks a bit odd. If you could add a few color options for the blush so it looks more natural on other complexions that'd be so amazing!! Thank you!! Looking forward to seeing it expand!!
No problems making my go-to OC for picrew, Treasurely, thanks to the abundant color options, the elf ears option, and the cat ears options, but making myself proved a little more difficult. I don't have bangs, but I don't normally have my hair slicked back like that either. So any long hair that falls in front any, plus any pair of glasses, would be all it would take for myself to be fully possible in it. But again, the color options were a huge boon, it gave me the ability to have myself wear either one of my hoodies, I love it.
If you ever decide to make a new one i have a few suggestions for things you can add! 1. Hands so you can do different hand gestures so your character can be more expressive 2. Make it so you can add two of the accessories ex. so you can have a bandage and eye bags 3. If you add hands maybe add some stuff you can hold or hands holding stuff 4. If hands are added you can add rings, gloves, nails (long, medium, short) 5. More facial expressions (im sure you wouldve if you had the time) 6. Make it so you can make a rather masculine or feminine character if able! Like more masculine eyes, more fem eyes. So on Obviously these are just suggestions if you ever make another one ir add on to the one you have now! Its gonna obvi take longer but youll be able to take breaks and wont have to work so late into the night! Have a great day and i love your character maker!

If I think of any ideas, I'll be sure to let you know ^w^ Edit: Okay, to start the list, definitely need more eye options (not the pupils, but the surrounding eye shape) a pink skin tone, a darker yellow tone (the current one looks so pale it's almost identical to the white) and a diverse variety of clothing options.

This video gave me the confidence to make my own picrew! I finished it and it's very limited but it was a lot of fun to make. I might add to it later. Also my little sister LOVES your picrew so much and has made so many using it.
The picrew is so amazing its the most unique one i have seen/played so far, may I suggest to add curly hair and some accessories like glasses or hair clips But overall your picrew is really unique :D
This is really nice, the fact that your artstyle is like no other from the other picrews ive been to is ironic. This is so well done for such a quick project, and has such good potential for expansion! I'd love to see a green and brown eye option, and some curly hair options if you ever feel up to it! I also noticed the blush doesn't layer on top of dark skin super well. Maybe if there were darker blush options? These are just thoughts if you ever feel like expanding it, but I love to see you always branching out and trying new things!
Things to add: More clothes- I would recommend adding multiple styles so nobody feels super limited Eyes- maybe make it possible to have two different eye colors so one eye is blue and another is pink or something like that Decorations- add some extra stuff for the background like you can add stars behind the character but the background is sunny Wink- maybe add one eye closed option Hair- you can maybe add more hair styles like a fro or short hair and fluffy hair just more hair bc that’s so fun to miss and match Piercing- maybe you can do ear piercings and nose piercings and maybe more Hats- more hats or things on the head like different mushrooms maybe a cat or frog just silly things on the head Hands- you can add little hands that pop up like maybe a waving hand or a peace sign maybe a fist or a hand holding a drink Ears- more ears make them fantasy like, cow ears, goat ears, water elf ears, any water like ears, ripped ears, and maybe big normal ears Backgrounds- just do a lot of backgrounds like random plots of colors or places like the store park anywhere and anything, go crazy with it! Necklaces- you can add necklaces, chokers, ties, bows, and random other things like a bird on the shoulder or mushrooms And that’s all my ideas I kinda just got an idea then said what I thought so it’s a lot have fun with all that I gave you, hope the suggestions give you ideas on what you want to add to your Picrew

note: this is not meant as an attack on lav, she's amazing and my main inspiration ive noticed that there is a lack of body type differentiation in lav's art, whether it be a character who is thicker around the middle than the average joe or even physical disabilities requiring things like walkers, wheelchairs, prosthetics, etc. it just makes me a bit sad as someone who is using a wheelchair (and also thick around the middle, I wont lie) because we don't get a lot of positive rep in art. it would be amazing to regularly see somebody with a larger waistline or a walking aid, it would make me and many others feel less alone. I know it's hard to draw these things, but with practice, they become easier and I think lav would understand where I'm coming from here. this is all my opinion though, yours may differ, once again this is not an attack on lavender, it's just something I've noticed.
Wow this Picrew is so cool!! I loved it so much, but I have a few suggestions- Afro and braided hair options (important), some more in-between skin tone colours (also important), curly hair(also important), pride pins, shirts layer and jackets layer, more clothes, more hair colour options (teal etc), fading (2nd colour) layer on eyes and hair, and more background options. Obviously you don’t have to do all of this but I hope you like these ideas ^-^

I've been seeing a some stuff about this that made me want to write this lengthy rant, it's pretty over the place and disorganized,,,
it's really funny how chronically online people have been to act like making an uncompleted or missing some stuff in a picrew is a hate crime??????? Y'all acting as if it's done and no longer updated, bruh even in her pinned comment she asked for suggestions on what she can add more in the future, keep in mind that making a picrew can be time consuming and plus she had a 24 hour limit. yes diversity is important but it rubs me the wrong way when people force it in an aggressive way. it really bugs me when people say "WELL WHY DIDN'T SHE BOTHER DOING THIS AND THAT FIRST" things like those can easily slip from your mind. we're people. we don't remember everything. make your own picrew if don't like the one she made or find ones that you like. of course you're allowed to like and dislike it and voice your opinion idc but complaining and bitching about how she didn't add or prioritize this or that and then suddenly she's problematic for not adding it reminds me an artist who had to private their picrew link because people were bitching there wasn't enough added, this is one of the reasons why I found a part of the picrew community kinda toxic, they complain about not having enough stuff in a certain picrew not realizing it takes time.

I'd like a few more lighter skin tones between the 2nd and 3rd as the 2nd is way lighter than most people's and the 3rd too dark (talking about people with light skin tones). Other than that it's amazing!

I think it looks amazing right now, but I do feel like more things could be added if you ever plan to add more in the furture. Some things to add might be darker skin tones, different head shapes, eye shape options, curly hair/coily hair options, and maybe more masuline options in case anyone wants to make a masculine character. I'm brown skinned w curly hair, so most picrews have nothing that looks like me haha. Your picrew has a skin tone that is a fair bit lighter than me and one that's a fair bit darker right next to each other, but I understand you could only fit so many in the time crunch.
Something I haven't seen mentioned as a suggestion is different colors for the blush!! I love having blush-y characters, but the blush is such a light-pinky color that on darker complexions it looks a bit odd. If you could add a few color options for the blush so it looks more natural on other complexions that'd be so amazing!! Thank you!!

No problems making my go-to OC for picrew, Treasurely, thanks to the abundant color options, the elf ears option, and the cat ears options, but making myself proved a little more difficult. I don't have bangs, but I don't normally have my hair slicked back like that either. So any long hair that falls in front any, plus any pair of glasses, would be all it would take for myself to be fully possible in it. But again, the color options were a huge boon, it gave me the ability to have myself wear either one of my hoodies, I love it.
I saw it while scrolling through Picrew and went "hey that looks like LavenderTowne", been waiting for you to upload about it!

If you ever decide to make a new one i have a few suggestions for things you can add!
1. Hands so you can do different hand gestures so your character can be more expressive
2. Make it so you can add two of the accessories ex. so you can have a bandage and eye bags
3. If you add hands maybe add some stuff you can hold or hands holding stuff
4. If hands are added you can add rings, gloves, nails (long, medium, short)
5. More facial expressions (im sure you wouldve if you had the time)
6. Make it so you can make a rather masculine or feminine character if able! Like more masculine eyes, more fem eyes. So on
Obviously these are just suggestions if you ever make another one ir add on to the one you have now! Its gonna obvi take longer but youll be able to take breaks and wont have to work so late into the night! Have a great day and i love your character maker!

Edit: Okay, to start the list, definitely need more eye options (not the pupils, but the surrounding eye shape) a pink skin tone, a darker yellow tone (the current one looks so pale it's almost identical to the white) and a diverse variety of clothing options.

This video gave me the confidence to make my own picrew! I finished it and it's very limited but it was a lot of fun to make. I might add to it later. Also my little sister LOVES your picrew so much and has made so many using it.

This is so well done for such a quick project, and has such good potential for expansion! I'd love to see a green and brown eye option, and some curly hair options if you ever feel up to it! I also noticed the blush doesn't layer on top of dark skin super well. Maybe if there were darker blush options? These are just thoughts if you ever feel like expanding it, but I love to see you always branching out and trying new things!

Things to add:
More clothes- I would recommend adding multiple styles so nobody feels super limited
Eyes- maybe make it possible to have two different eye colors so one eye is blue and another is pink or something like that
Decorations- add some extra stuff for the background like you can add stars behind the character but the background is sunny
Wink- maybe add one eye closed option
Hair- you can maybe add more hair styles like a fro or short hair and fluffy hair just more hair bc that’s so fun to miss and match
Piercing- maybe you can do ear piercings and nose piercings and maybe more
Hats- more hats or things on the head like different mushrooms maybe a cat or frog just silly things on the head
Hands- you can add little hands that pop up like maybe a waving hand or a peace sign maybe a fist or a hand holding a drink
Ears- more ears make them fantasy like, cow ears, goat ears, water elf ears, any water like ears, ripped ears, and maybe big normal ears
Backgrounds- just do a lot of backgrounds like random plots of colors or places like the store park anywhere and anything, go crazy with it!
Necklaces- you can add necklaces, chokers, ties, bows, and random other things like a bird on the shoulder or mushrooms
And that’s all my ideas I kinda just got an idea then said what I thought so it’s a lot have fun with all that I gave you, hope the suggestions give you ideas on what you want to add to your Picrew

Aaaaa I was so excited for this video when it showed up in my notifs :D I absolutely love making picrews and have always wanted to make one of my own! one thing though, i would suggest adding more skin tones q_q as a POC it can be upsetting when i want to make a picrew but the skin options are either too light or too dark. some black hairstyles like afros and dreads would also be good to add for ppls whos hair is naturally like that. other than that this picrew was rlly cute !!!

note: this is not meant as an attack on lav, she's amazing and my main inspiration
ive noticed that there is a lack of body type differentiation in lav's art, whether it be a character who is thicker around the middle than the average joe or even physical disabilities requiring things like walkers, wheelchairs, prosthetics, etc.
it just makes me a bit sad as someone who is using a wheelchair (and also thick around the middle, I wont lie) because we don't get a lot of positive rep in art. it would be amazing to regularly see somebody with a larger waistline or a walking aid, it would make me and many others feel less alone.
I know it's hard to draw these things, but with practice, they become easier and I think lav would understand where I'm coming from here.
this is all my opinion though, yours may differ, once again this is not an attack on lavender, it's just something I've noticed.
Wow this Picrew is so cool!! I loved it so much, but I have a few suggestions- Afro and braided hair options (important), some more in-between skin tone colours (also important), curly hair(also important), pride pins, shirts layer and jackets layer, more clothes, more hair colour options (teal etc), fading (2nd colour) layer on eyes and hair, and more background options. Obviously you don’t have to do all of this but I hope you like these ideas ^-^
If you don't have much items for your picrew, its fine! You can always add to it later when you're bored
