I felt for Russell in this exchange, and it showed the lack of insight or depth to some people in the face of tangible evidence. Also his demeaning nature towards Russell in his search of something greater than drugs and pu**y. What a waste of an opportunity to have that level of depth in front of you and just laugh back with no substance. It was similar to an overgrown adolescent with no maturity who only response is so what. Noit to.mention the structure of the interview is he basically gets wasted and incoherent for the second half. This man showed how out of touch, privileged and nieve he is. Its not even like he makes an attempt to disect or understand. He comes across so ignorant it almost appears to be a character or satire which is the greatest insult and condemnation of his stupidity.

Good point about Bill's "shtick." It doesn't hold up against the depth of thought in Russell's conversation. I was thinking of the axioms "In wine, truth" and "Out of the depths of the heart does the mouth speak." Bill shows himself to be shallow and self-centered. Not a good look.

He truly doesn’t care about anyone and is perfectly comfortable living in his fantasy. Russell is certainly not perfect but has learned a lot of humility and wisdom lately, which he try’s earnestly to share with Bill but Bill truly doesn’t care. Seems that he does. When it comes to a religious person talking to a person of science, or a non believer of religion. My answer to the question, or debate is always “then what created science/the Big Bang theory?” Science didn’t create itself without a higher power. Not sure what’s on the other side of the million mile high wall they mentioned, but there has to be a higher power, or science including humans wouldn’t exist.
