yeah the first level, and collapse both get immediately blocked if you upload them to youtube, it's really weird, thankfully my channel appears to be big enough that i can refute those claims and they get dropped fairly quickly, some other runners aren't able to do that apparently though.

2:37:25 A little risky but you can be a little faster by letting yourself fall and only slow down for around half a second at the very end. Only took around 5 attempts to get it very consistently as long as I'm not greedy.

When you mentioned accents, for me as an American when Australians talk fast it’s hard for me to tell whether they’re British or Australian and since you talked fast it was hard for me to tell lol
it's so weird to me that americans get those accents confused lol, but I'm australian, my other question though is, do you get confused between australian and south african accents? they are kind of distinctive, but also have some surprising similarities with australian accents

2:00:30 if you skip by jumping to the other thing (not taking the ladder) after killing the ast you will end up softlock, this happen in my game
WHAAAAT I know everything about this game, it's my favorite, but I didn't know there were those glitches for the speedruns
I think for the world record to establish:
Start time of the attempt must be on the spamming button part on the drop pad.
End time is the final button pushed to cut the arm off and stop jonathan irons.
Then on every stage past, timer must be start after the introduction of the exo suit

Its still a good run.
@@Vincent4399_ The timing is the way it is because we use a program to read the games memory in real time and check what the game itself considers a load or not, and we have it automatically pause the timer at those points, more accurately than any human could do in real-time, and imo it's better to trust what the game thinks is a load rather than just arbitrarily decide it ourselves.

Here is a tip: some parts in missions are skipable like in the first mission just jump down.
Fun game, but the optimization on PC is horrendous, a 2070 Super and I still can't run it smooth.
What I hate about AW is how under-detailed the campaign is, like you can look over the background and you can see just how empty it is in contrast to the foreground
it also just has random walls that aren't solid, and so many ways to get out of bounds lol, it definitely wasn't finished

you unlock achievements through completing challenges in this game, NG+ means new game plus, which is basically having unlocked everything, then completing the game as fast as possible with those advantages

Am i the only one that runs AW on max settings and has literally never crashed once. i think youll find running the game on not ps2 settings will stop most of your crashing lol.
ps2 settings helped the crashes somewhat actually, there's a reason I had it that way, if you're playing on console it wouldn't crash, because that's all they optimized it for.
Fair enough i know thats a common thing for runners to use lower settings. But i just like have literally never crashed on like max settings on AW id never even heard of that game having crashing issues none of me and my friends ever crash. Maybe we are lucky as fuck tho lmao
@@byronlefevre8266 if you're playing on pc that's genuinely surprising since everyone I know has had the exact same crashing issues, it might just be hardware dependant, some of the newer cods have issues with loading shaders on nvidia gpus and such, and this was the first game to introduce that, it's the only one that crashes though.
@@klooger28 yeah fair enough man ive ran this game across like 3 gpus now and 2 different cpus in my system all have been intel/nvidia tho but yeah never had any crashing before. Are you sure its not a setting in there like shader warming or whatever which does shit in the loading screen? Cause i have that sorta stuff all off.
@@byronlefevre8266 it's been a good 6-8 months since i played this game, but i tried basically everything that was possible, never heard a single case of the game not crashing for someone, and bear in mind the crashes are caused by the loads not the gameplay, so if you spend 5 hours playing 3 levels i wouldn't be surprised if it never crashed, but going through the whole game in one session it's practically a gurantee.
