The place where Fyodor Dostoevsky lived

In St. Petersburg, there is a unique place where the famous writer Fyodor Dostoevsky lived until his death. In Soviet times, there were communal apartments here. In 1968 restoration was carried out, during which Dostoevsky’s apartment was recreated using archive plans and photos. In addition, there is a museum in the building, where you can find many interesting historical materials related to the writer’s life and work.
