From someone who actually read some of the Comics, this looked weird. The parents didn't wear bathrobes, they each had there own outfits, based on what they were, Chase wasn't a Jock like guy, Molly was suppose to be younger the the main group and some other things that hadn't been shown in this first episode.
I also read them but it's been a while. Did they break up bc a dead sister? I thought they just like didn't hang out until that night.

@@daniellepettway5009 The dead sister stuff and cult stuff are new, but to be honest, those are not awful changes. I lost interest by season when they strayed too far from the books and it got kinda "meh", but season 1 was solid all around.

Dani Luna when they walk through the secret passageway they try to yell at their parents to stop them and realize there’s some sort of invisible protection that isolates the sound, although it doesn’t isolate light, so they only realize something’s wrong because they see molly’s phone’s flashlight in an area that’s supposed to be mostly dark.

I watched the whole show, and I am obsessed with it. It is my favorite show EVER!! You only talked about the legit most normal episodes in the show. It wasn’t what I expected the show to be either, I expected it to be about the kids of that Avengers in the future figuring out the Avengers were and what they did. but you did a good job summarizing the first 2/3 episodes. This makes me want to go rewatch the entire show again for the literal 5th time lol.
1 and 2 i liked alot. But season 3 was horrible. I mean, bad bad, like i wish never happened bad. But s1 and 2 sure il give it to you its good even though some thigns they change annoy me

as someone who has read the runaways comics thousands of times... / still reads it all the time, watching this video was so hard for me lmaoo like ok the show has its flaws but i’m just so attached to the characters and plot line it’s so hard for me to listen to criticism. you make some good points, that i secretly agree with. but this whole video i was just defending these characters and i almost shed a whole ass tear just listening to criticism about something that has helped me thru so so much
I have some rules surrounding certain things. I don't watch videos criticizing TVD. I am well aware of it's issues, and regularly analyzed it while watching it, but watching videos on it stresses me out. Same thing with other things i get an obsession with, like Runaways. I cannot watch the show cause it's different from the comics 😅

I do love runaways. Even though there are some bits that are a little weird, it is one of the only teen shows I like, and I really hate teen shows. The first 2 episodes aren't great but once you get further into it, it's actually really good. The characters and storyline is engaging. My friend and I were watching it when season 1 first came out last year. She stopped after the 3rd episode but I carried on and heck, I don't regret it. So pumped for season 3
O hai Mark I remember the first time I tried to watch it with my sister I fell asleep it was so boring, then I got invested after like episode 3 or 4 and fucking hate teen shows, but this was kind of realistic if we were in this situation (we meaning teenagers, I’m assuming your a teenager)
This show is quite something. It manages to have super unique scenarios while still following along to some teen show formulas and the outcome is something good and interesting but also... Weird?
What’s really interesting is the school they used for the episode is my high school. Afterwards they switched over to the set they were waiting on for the rest of the season
You should do agents of S.H.I.E.L.D, and not just the first episode you need to go through the seasons cause I starts out like a normal superhero show and then it gets WILD

Season one of the Runaways is a slow burn but so JUICY with the mystery then season two ramps everything up to 500 miles per hour and shit just starts hitting fans
Unless you are a fan of the comic...in which case the show makes far less sense than the comic, and you see everything from 5 miles away, especially the many things they change to try to alter the plot but just end up poking it in the same direction, bit in a way that makes far less sense.

I have watch both season 1 and 2, now I am going in to season 3 and I got to tell you, IT LITERALLY BECOMES A DRAMA SHOW. Like every episode they talk about there feeling and stuff. Like this is marvel, make them fight. And there is like no fighting in the show. The only reason you watch season 3 is to find out who the 4 alien is and to see Cloak and dagger. Lapiz Lapoppy Season 4 was the best of the series. Season 5 less so despite having all the elements for being great. It just didn’t click for me. Let’s see how season 6 will turn out.

Agent's of Shield is hit and miss for me. It has some great Arcs (Hydra Matrix) some boring and some bad stuff. Agent Carter is a way better show... or was.
I've been looking forward to series like The Umbrella Academy and following The Magicians and The Gifted.
I like how if Alex, for example, punctuates a sentence with a subtle grunt, Alex's illustrated persona will just have a full-on Mr. Crocker FAIRY-GOD-PARENTS seizure

I just discovered your channel, so this is almost a year late, but I'd love to see you do a TRULY weird Marvel show - Legion.
The Marvel Netflix shows are more adult oriented. Don't get me wrong, they're really good shows (Iron Fist not withstanding), but with more mature subject matter and violence. I hear Cloak and Dagger over on FreeForm is more of a Superhero/Teen Drama type thing you might be interested in checking out.

reviewing the first episode of Agents of SHIELD is a bad idea. Good show, but the first season is bad.

Ok so first It's actually spelled Nico with a "C" also Gert is a lot more important to the storyline than you gave her credit for and people definitely noticed that Karolina passed out which is why Chase had to save her.
This show is incredible and deserves to be so much more popular than it is so everyone go and watch it, I promise it's actually really good!

The part that truly weirded me out was half-way through the final season they killed off the main aliens villains and introduced a completely new villain and a whole new plotline with about 6 episodes left to go. The only explanation i have is they had written an extra season and then the network cancelled the show and they had to hurry through their remaining plot as quickly as they can.
