7:10 Helicopter rides are extremely rare in Germany. It's not a common thing to take a helicopter ride for sightseeing.

There is one company that does them on Rügen though, if I'm not mistaken. I remember driving past a parked helicopter and advertisment for helicopter rides. Probably super expensive though...

No worries about insects. Seasonally, wasps can be a nuisance, especially if you attract them with sugar or meat, or regionally mosquitoes if there are small, shallow bodies of water. Hornets are rare and not very aggressive, in very rural areas flies can also be annoying and that's about it. Dangerous insects are extremely rare here, unless you are allergic to some poisons.

Be carefull. The german seaside ist cold. Ist not careabian Islands. Its nice and summers can be hot, but seacoasts here are windy and sometimes cold. Beach chairs weren't invented for fun. They are precisely tailored to these environmental conditions.

Most of the german islands are quite near to the cost and some are connected with a bridge to the rest of the country. Rügen is reachable over the Rügendamm or the Rügenbridge by car and train. The farest island from the german coast and only reachable by ship and plane is Helgoland (The red rock). In WW II it was military used by the Nazis and after the war the britains tried to blew it away with the biggest non-nuclear explosion that was ever caused.
It's still there and a paradise for seabirds !
