BEST video out by far. Was great you mentioned stain remover because that's my problem. I was shocked when u mentioned manic Panic because I've always loved them until you mentioned how much they bleed. ( Just gone blue ² days ago and my neck and hands are stained from sleeping)

Yes! You’re supposed to dye your hair within 24 hours of washing your hair without conditioner for maximum color deposit.
I loved Pravana but it literally stains everything!!!! Even after like weeks after! It stains couches,pillows, shirts! EVERYTHING!!!!!

This is a great video. My hair has been blue for over five years and I have struggled with it bleeding no matter what. My problem is if I sweat in my sleep I’ll wake up completely blue 😅
I’m definitely going to reach out to my hair dresser about which could potentially bleed less.
That’s so weird, I’ve never had a problem with it bleeding from using Joico. Are you rinsing it completely after dying?

Do you think it could be the temperature of showers i’m taking affecting how it bleeds? Does cold water showers help with sealing it in? If so then that could be a big issue as well!
@@ZeldaandFairies with vibrant colors I always tell clients to use cool to cold water to wash hot water opens the hair up and let’s the color out

The only Manic Panic color I swear by is Alien Grey. It is literally the only dark gray dye I’ve found that lasts and keeps your color from getting muddy. The other colors are trash.
LAs totally awesome degreaser from dollar tree is a God send for dye. It got purple splat our of my rental apt sink after the stain had been there for 2 years. It's only a dollar too! For my tub, I always clean it while waiting for my hair to take. I've found that if the shower or tub has soap scum buildup, it retains the dye more and stains really badly. I use bartenders friend or whatever it's called. If it's blue after rinsing off the dye, I use the same thing that time and make sure to spray tilex all over everything after my shower. I use Arctic fox dyes.
When I shower, I wash my hair with cool water and condition with conditioner mixed with dye. I then pop a shower cap on and turn the heat up for the rest of my shower then back to cold briefly to rinse.
If you have dye stains on your face, RUBBING ALCOHOL gets that shit off but it's harsh af on your skin so moisturize after.
My hair has been half blue half purple since August this year. The purple lasts a really long time but the blue fades off the ends in like 2 washes even with colour protection shampoo
I got my hair done blue ombre last month and just had it retouched a few days ago and washed it for the first time. I am more determined to keep it from fading out this time...I have toning products like Pureology purple shampoo and I just got the Matrix Brass Off mask ...which I will still use because the top of my head is bleached blonde. But I ordered overtone last night. I'm nervous about when it is touch up time because I am blonde to indigo ombre and it's a beautiful balayage. If I get blue on the top it will take because my hair is so lifted.

How do i get the green undertones out from my blue hair?
its basically impossible so just keep in mind to make sure you tone your hair before the dye because blue + yellow makes that green undertone
I have multicolored blue hair. I was informed that Overtone was actually carpet dye. And the Overtone people told me that if I used the blue for brown hair over my multi shades of blue that it would make all my colors one shade.

My hair is the same as hers, length thickness and color, and I recommend going to a salon/professional for the bleach. I believe this is what she did as well. Bleaching at home is too risky and can be sooooo damaging

My natural hair is s similar to hers. I dyed mine with Splat 30 wash midnight indigo. Better coverage but darker/ more navy blue than her color

I used pravana blue and my neck, hands, clothes had blue rubbing off for DAYS. I bought on Amazon. Probably fake?
Pravana does that, that’s why I love Joico! If that happens though use hand sanitizer, it will melt off that color on your skin!
In this video you use the dye for a retouch but could it also be used for a fist time dye on bleached blonde hair. Like is it strong enough for that. If you can, do you need to mix it with any developer like 30 volume for it to work better, or can you just put it straight on.
Is artic fox bad? That’s what I used and it hasn’t stopped bleeding after a few weeks. It got on one of my favorite sweaters and my neck is always blue/gray. Also, what sulfate free shampoo do you recommend? I need to purchase something better for my hair.

That’s so strange! A good solfate free conditioner seals the cuticle so it shouldn’t bleed. Are you washing it in cold water?
What is a good shampoo and conditioner for blue violet hair that people can get locally? because i cant afford things from online as i live out in the country and sometimes it doesn't get to the right address and not all my neighbors are nice enough to send it to me......some love to throw it away. The local brands i have found are not your mothers, matrix total results brass off, shimmer lights, and loreal .
Anything that doesn’t have sulfate in it is good to use, L’Oréal has a lot of great options! For conditioner I always mix some hair dye in it to create my own color depositing formula

I’ve been using manic panic blue dye and it bleeds like crazy, how much better is the joico dye than the manic panic and how much longer does joico last ?
Manic panic isn’t great for your hair, it’s very striping and bleeds a lot because it’s not high quality. Joico doesn’t bleed on me at all and lasts way longer than most dyes I’ve tried

Sometimes that happens to me too, especially when I leave it rest on my neck after dying it! I suggest putting it up in a shower cap after you fully dye it while you’re waiting. I have a huge bulk pack of disposable shower caps that I got from amazon, it works wonders☺️
Use makeup wipes to take off the blue dye it works for me!!

That’s why I like to use clothes that I don’t care about, especially black since you can’t see the stains and it comes out of the white graphic 👌🏼

You dont dye your hair beautiful you color it... Its already dead. And Its called deferred products, i love joico but when u but from anywhere besides a licensed retailer theres absolutely no guarantee. I love your blue, try joico peacock green its beautiful
