DON'T FORGET TO LIVE YOUR EXTRA LIFE! - Zábava
When he called out all the girls that scrubbed their hair with their towels I felt attacked.
When he said "Calm down Brittney" I died because HOW DOES HE KNOW?!?!?!?!?!?
Ahahahhahahha

"don't rub your ENDS please not a good idea"
*thinks back to every time i've washed my hair for the last 23 years in utter shame and disgust*
Oh god I didn't even hit 'play' and I'm already regretting all the times I washed my hair, I always always always rub the ends...

Truuuuuuuuuuuu
This changed my life. I used to scrub my hair like my life depended on it, dry it incredibly aggressively, buy the cheapest shampoo, not use any aftercare, and literally do the opposite of everything Brad said to do... My hair was destroyed. But when I started to follow Brad's tips my hair quality instantly improved and I could tell it's healthy. Thanks so much for this, you saved my hair.
Bonus tip: add a leave-in conditioner if you want. The Pureology Color Fanatic Leave-In is top-tier
This was life changing. I literally destroyed my thin hair with bad routines and dyes. I abused the amount of shampoo and felt like sculpting foamy creations with my hair in the shower... Nowadays I only gently wash the scalp and is growing shinier and healthier. Thank you so much!
Me: *just took a shower*

Brad: Wash your hair gentlyyyyyy
Every hairdresser ever at the salon: *rubs head super hard when washing it and breaks ur neck*
Unprofessional. I freakin had a makeup artist blow on my brush!!! You really do get what you pay for 😥
Well... the one I got made an amazing massage I thought I was gonna fall asleep like right there hashhaha
evie.l one time they rubbed my head so hard I started crying :3
it feels so good when you don’t have a tender head!
Don't confuse your hair for your scalp. A scalp massage is really good for most to help with dead skin that is naturally sloughing off. When it comes to your hair, be gentle.
This helped me so much, my hairdresser always told me that I should scrub my scalp a lot, to the point where it actually hurt and to wash my ends just like that. Following the tips in this video my hair is way less tangled and looks a lot healthier!
that looks like smth an ignorant person would say, it's mostly with unexperienced very young or very old people that know nothing, i once went to a hairdresser and she washed my hair like she wanted to take it out of me
Dang Does your hair dresser hate you I fell like any hairdresser freak out herd you say that I hope she not anymore that’s insane she even say that that not even close to true I can’t believe she said that to you That insane
Training your hair is real. Mine used to get soooo oily so I washed it almost every day. I kept pushing washes out gradually, and now I'm good for a whole week!!
Is this still the case for you? Hope to hear.
I have been washing my hair every week or 2 weeks for years and my hair still gets very oily after like 2 days or so 😭

Didn’t you feel it with his eyes? 😍
Brad, seriously, I really didn’t know how to do this the right way. I have very thick hair and I was getting an itchy scalp, and had a feeling that I was using too much shampoo. It’s difficult to get all of that product rinsed out. After using your tips, my scalp and hair are so much more comfortable every day (while I only wash about 2 times a week). Thank you so much!
I would also if you want a natural oil to add to your shampoo is tea tree oil. It will help with itching of the scalp and products to promote less dry scalp. as in washing your scalp only with a all natural shampoo for dry itchy scalp. Worked for my itchy scalp. Plus less washing of hair per week.
Hi Brad, I am new to your channel and came across this video when I was having issues with what I believed to be product build up. I felt that I had tried everything under the sun product wise, but nothing would help until I watched this video. I followed every single step that you talk about and now I am on day two with no product build up and no grease and my hair is lovely and clean and back to normal. I also watched your *Hard Water* video and did get a filtering shower head, but this video is the one that has saved my hair. I am still learning and am currently going through your videos to teach myself on how I can keep my hair nice and healthy and looking great. I'm not sure if you will see this but I just wanted to say thank you
I’m basically doing everything he said not to do and still have the audacity to complain about my hair being unhealthy
Unfortunately.. I second this. We gon get it right tho sis. 😭😭😂😂
I keep getting compliments on my hair but I think the only reason my hair is not a wreck is because I rarely wash it compared to other people around me XD

Thank you for this!! I've never been taught how to take care of my hair. I've tried for years till the point I got so frustrated I shaved it all off last year. Now I'm determined to grow it out and learn how to look after it fully. Thank you for posting something on basic hair care.. it's so important
I've been doing it wrong my whole life?! I've been trying to grow out my hair for over 8 years and I used to have waist length long, but after some unfortunate accidents, I have shoulder length hair and it hasn't gotten longer since. I think I've been too hard on my hair.

Re: oily hair & skin.
My hair used to be really oily. Very annoying.
When I was younger I used to have really hot showers, even wash my hair in that.
I now wash in body temp water.
Now like 25-50 years later using body temp the hair is normal.
No oily hair or oily skin.
No moisturiser either.
When washing I just massage scalp from edge to centre.
NO rubbing ends of hair.
Just use wide tooth wet hair comb work from ends if knotty.
Rinse shampoo out.
Squeeze excess water using hands not towel, add conditioner leave in required time and rinse.
NO TOWEL HAIR at any process.
My hair is very fine plus in 60's so can be brittle.
Slight trim monthly Keeps knotts away.
I have cut my own hair for years using pony tail method.

Still Fangirling about Draco Malfoy A lifesaver for me is using a hair mask/deep conditioner once a week. It's basically an extra thick and creamy conditioner that infuses your hair with vitamins/essential oils/natural ingredients. It was a night and day difference for me. My favorite is Heaven in Hair from Devacurl, but a great inexpensive starter is the one minute mask by Garnier Fructis(link below). Apply to clean wet hair and leave in for 15-20 minutes. Bonus points for using a blow dryer on your hair for 30-60 seconds to open your hair cuticle up to receive even more moisture. By the end of the month you'll see a huge difference in your hair. Hope this helps!!

@@ihugcats4624 Wow appreciate it! I'll try that. However, I really have naturally thin hair and it's not nice, I really want to make it thicker but idk how. Can anyone help me lol.
Boi
Still Fangirling about Draco Malfoy I have natural thin hair too (as everyone in my family my poor future kid)
What helped me a lot was that I stopped using shampooing and conditioning.
My hair would always get overwhelmed by conditioners (since they are aggressivelly trying to force nutritions in your hair so my hair would break because it has neither the space for the nutritions nor the strength to go through that several times)
I use a vinegar water mix to rinse my hair of once a week and my hair made such an improvement.
If you want to use conditioners make sure they are mild and for fine and thin hair.
Not that hair related: I started using mild hair soap because it way for sensitive so my scalp doesn’t produce that much oil anymore.
I went from basically feeling like I have to wash my hair the same day in the evening to washing it every three days with these two changes.
And it is healthier than it ever was.
I am also still Fangirling about Draco malfoy. The story of my life.

Brad: don’t wash your hair every day!
Me, a swimmer: okay, guess I’ll die.
Audree Mcdougall I guess the chlorine will just live in my hair then lmao 😂
There are ways to prevent having to use shampoo in your hair after every single swimming session. You can use protective aftercare products (sprays, oils etc..) and then wet your hair before putting it in a swimming cap. This will prevent so much chlorinated water being soaked up by your hair. You can also just not wash with shampoo but run it through warm water and then maybe use a conditioning after care product to combat excess drying. Rather than regular shampoo, you can also get shampoos which are super super gentle (just very little amount
of actual shampoo sometimes with conditioner mixed in it). It might be worth researching how you can clean your hair with oils, which would essentially lift away chlorinated water residue or saltwater residue/build up or even dead skin/scalp oil build up in the hair and protect the hair shaft during the shampoo process. A lot of girls swear by this but I need to look into it more to fully understand it.
These tips used to help me maintain my brightly dyed hair while swimming loads. You can try and see what works best for you.

I just realized it’s been 5 months in quarantine and that 5 months is a long ass time to workout, get a good skincare routine, hair care routine and learn a new hobby and yet all I’ve done is sleep in til 3 pm and now I’m kinda regretting life
Me too, my dear sis, me too. Let's take two weeks for all that, we should be just fine

My dermatologist put it the best way for me when I was having problems with build up and an itchy scalp. Doing all the right things or so I thought. I was washing my hair once or twice a week depending on my activity that week. He simply asked me "would you wash your face or body once or twice a week and expect no problems with your skin?"
@@_yesimkazuma7478 you should had said yes to the Dr just to see he's facial expressions 😂😂😂
@@karelidoes that would've been hilarious to see but honestly I was having so many problems with my skin and my scalp and couldn't work out why when I thought I'd been doing the right things and I've changed my skincare and have started washing my hair every 1-2 days and my hair is still really healthy but my scalp and skin is soooo much healthier now.
Lol same girl
Thank you so much Brad for doing this video. 💗
Dude you literally answered every question I had in one video!
CAN WE GET A "How To Train Your Oily Hair" PLEASEE
Dry shampoo is life. I used to wash my hair every other day. Now I wash it once a week. Day 1- wash; day 2- still ok; day 3- dry shampoo; day 4- dry shampoo and put it half up; day 5 & 6- dry shampoo and put it in a pony tail or messy bun. But you have to get there gradually, over several weeks to months. A good dash of laziness goes a long way with this process.
It took me a lot of trial and error but for me I had to start by finding the perfect dry shampoo (I ended up using Pantene Volume or Not Your Mothers as a last resort) and I started off by washing every other day and using dry shampoo on the days I wouldn't wash my hair. It took about a week or two for my hair to get used to it but if you keep up the pattern it'll fix itself. Oh and I also recommend not touching your hair very often because the oils from your hands will transfer over to your roots! I try to opt for hairstyles that'll keep my hair out of my face so I can avoid touching it.
YES! The day after I take a shower my hair looks like I haven't showered for a week. I have super thin and fine hair too so dry shampoo usually makes it look weighed down and worse.
Dry shampoo is still shampoo if you're trying to slow your oil production. If you're drying up that natural oil, you're telling your scalp it needs to produce more. If you can push yourself to day 4 without dry, it will make you produce even less oil overtime and as your scalp acclimates you'll be able to do that again and wait 1 more day between.
Can always "cleanse" with conditioner in between. Just water removes excess oil and by using conditioner it won't tangle like just h20 might
@@DianaTavaresxx I was basically going to suggest this same thing, but then didn't want to try to figure out how to explain it. I'd add an extra day between washes and wash that way 6 or 8 times before adding another.
I need a brad mondo app. That tells me what I need to do with my hair.
