Excellent advice for an electrician starting out. Buy within your means and start out doing little jobs.
My advice is to start with company and get experienced.
Then maybe go it alone. But only if your ready.

Thank you David, Tresham with GSH Electrical undoubtedly offer the best learning environment than any other electrical education establishment I've seen.

Nothing wrong with Ryobi like this man says. At least with the cordless drill and impact drill.

Nothing wrong with a well stocked van👍🏼 I keep plenty of everything i use on regular basis. Back & forth to the suppliers for simple things is ridiculous. I have a good stock holding in my garage. 2 years ago, I decided to try buying stock on line, Which has worked out for me as I was sick of suppliers changing prices, depending on who serves you. I have never had a credit account as I don’t want to get into trouble like most of the sparks I know. If it’s a extra large purchase, I have a credit card. Tools, I’ve tried everything, Milwaukee, just didn’t last, makita & Bosch were ok. I went back to dewalt when the 5a batteries came out & their excellent 3 years on & still performing. I do have an unbranded corded drill, that I have had for 20yrs & still going strong. It’s great that you give your time to explain how your business works. Keep the videos coming.

@David Savery Electrical Services another good reason to take your "critical tools" out of the vehicle, every night, is that if some thieving scumbag takes your vehicle for a joyride, you can at least rent/borrow one and keep working while, either the insurance comes through, or the vehicle is found/returned, you know unless the scumbag has written it off or burned it out....

If you're looking for good battery kit, go for AEG, as good as Ryobi on price and up until recently they were made in Germany, a 6 year warranty on the tool and 3 years on the battery. Personally I use Metabo, still made in Germany, can't beat the krauts for tools. My battery kit has 6 years on it an still going strong, only had one battery out of 5 fail and that was replaced under warranty, never had an issue with any of the tools themselves. When the time comes to switch though it will be AEG I go for next, could be a while though.
