Shop Talk Ep. 6 | You're Fabulous. You'll Figure It Out.

Hey Friends! Todays episode of Shop Talk tells the tale of a tough gig that I was the A1 on back in 2015. This gig was a classic example of Murphys Law. Though it also proves my theory that sometimes a bad soundcheck makes for a great gig. These gigs are the ones that make you stronger. I like to share these stories as they are huge learning opportunities for future shows. This episode is as much for me as it is for you as it shows why sometimes the customer isn't always right, and how to tactfully and kindly approach differing opinions on a stressful show day. As always, I dont mean to paint anyone in a bad light. Everyone handles the stress of show day differently - especially when things aren't going smoothly. Its easy to judge people years later in the quiet of your on home with 20/20 hindsight. Enjoy!

The iLive console is certainly a weird one. Luckily my demands were pretty simple when I had to use one. I actually remember growing a little fond of it at the end.
