Nail polish and Super glue to fix a windshield?

In this video I attempt to tackle repairing my 1999 4Runner windshield with a bit of nail polish and later some super glue. The results of the home remedy proved no good…

How long did it last

90% of the supergule has been weathered away from the windshield at this point. Hard to say with the internal cracks but the crack has not spread any further.
