What variety do you use and what do you think about the wild varieties around here maybe having diseases that ban be passed on to the new one s? Thanks!
This patch is pretty secluded from other wild plants, I’ve never really thought about it or had any issues. I wish I knew the variety but it can only be one of a few that can handle zone 3a temps.

When they are finished fruiting do you prune them in the fall?
Yes if I get time. Most years I prune in the spring though because I’m so busy with harvesting everything else in the garden.
