  • This is an artistic look at the outcome of a lot of hard work and a bit of time. Don't be fooled. regenerative growing systems aren't quick and easy, however they are worth your time and labor. Designs and research only get you so far, you need the hands on experience in the field to really understand these principles and why they work. So get to doing, its worth all your effort.

Bout as close to perfect as you can get. Hopefully there are children that get to be enchanted there.

I have 3 beautiful little girls. Some of my most treasured memories are of them in the special little nooks throughout the homestead. Thanks for the comment.

Just found your channel from the comment's at edible acres video. I'm really enjoying your video's! Very beautiful and well done. Also very inspiring seeing how you can grow all that stuff at such a cold location. I'm in south central MN. Zone 4b

That’s awesome- such a cool thing they did there sharing the spotlight. Glad you’re enjoying the content and thanks for the compliment! I’m grateful you took the time to let me know. It definitely is a short window up here… but that’s what makes it precious.

Questions: At 3:37, what is the tall plant in the foreground that looks like sow thistle? At 5:57, what kind of berries? Also, what variety of grapes (I have Frontenac) and strawberries (can't remember what I have, just that they're everbearing) are you growing? Thanks!

There is sow thistle in there but maybe you’re looking at broccoli or kale that went to seed (we change those annually (almost) so I can’t remember) Aronia berries. Somerset and St. Croix grapes were in this vid. And we have alpine strawberries, ac Wendy and totem.

@@greeneacreshomestead You can keep your Aronia berries😝, I'm loving my Black Velvet gooseberries. I want to get Alpine strawberries so I'll keep those in mind. Thanks much!

Yellow wonder is some of the best alpine strawberries- make sure you try some, they are our favorite small variety. Aronia makes great jams and syrups… but definitely not for everyone 😂

@@greeneacreshomestead I've never cared for jams/jellies/marmalades. But do try the Black Velvet gooseberries, SO good! Just fence your dog out if you have one, mine ate 30% of my harvest (first year producing, so not a huge number of berries but still maddening)
