ShartimusPrime Biography:
Inspired by watching boring Transformers action figure reviews, the ShartimusPrime youtube channel was launched in 2008. Engaging the audience with an edgy sense of humor for adult collectors, action figure collecting has never been this fun, and videos are posted daily! Unexpectedly, the channel became more popular for Marvel Legends reviews and Spider-Man, Avengers, and X-Men collection display videos. After a few years, the channel has branched out to review other figure properties aside from Marvel Legends and G1 Transformers Masterpiece. Hot Toys, Star Wars, Diamond Select Toys, DC Collectibles, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Dragon Ball Z, Attack on Titan, Godzilla, Evil Dead, and The Walking Dead toy lines have all been added to the roster of nearly 2,000 video reviews. Japanese import figures from SH Figuarts, Bandai, Figma, Square Enix, and Medicom MAFEX have been favorites as well. More recently, Kotobukiya Statues (including the very sexy Bishoujo line) and NECA Toys have become more prevalent on the channel. Being a big fan of movies such as Spider-Man, Batman, X-Men, Iron Man, Captain America, The Avengers, Evil Dead, Pacific Rim, Aliens, and other films has lead the channel in the direction of also reviewing movies, movie trailers, blu ray releases, and tv shows. News updates for 2016 releases and beyond are also posted. Audience engagement is a big part of this channel, with giveaways and fan mail being read publicly once a week in the PO Box Pick-Up videos. Impressive “Shart-Art” is shared via social media and included in the opening theme song. The audience is also kept up to date with any changes to the channel, along with recent comic book pick-ups, unboxings, and action figure hauls. Stop-motion segments punishing the popular meme of the Big Time Let Down Spider-Man close most of the comparison segments, and are compiled together for guaranteed access to patrons. Lastly, all figure reviews close with a slideshow featuring dynamic poses of the figure inspired by ACBA, with the added bonus of music performed and recorded by ShartimusPrime himself.

This suit is exactly what i wanted for Spider-Man in the MCU, no Iron Man tech, drones, a bunch of useless crap on it; its simple, comic accurate, and PERFECT! My only wishes were if he had relaxed Hands and Web grip hands, and boot swivel or ball joint and swivel at the foot.
I give it a SUD rating of.... DIIIIIYYYYYAAAAAHHHHH IT'S SO AWWWEEESSSSSSOOOOOMMMMEEEEEE!!!!!!!!

They greatly reduced accesories and some major articulation
Still dont think its as good as ASM2s. This one is too weirdly shiny and its sorta hard to judge when it only exists as a CG model.

@@ultimateslinger9857that’s exactly what they’re going to do. It was Marvel’s part of the bargain when they integrated the character in the MCU, as they own 100% of all profits for merch based on Spider-Man movies Sony has made while Sony keeps all the profits from the solo Spider-Man movies.

Definitely and hands down the best Spider-Man figure from this wave, I had to replace the far from home figure with the final swing suit on my main MCU shelf. He might be figure of the year for me for sure in 2023. So far the Homecoming stark suit, far from home suit and the final swing suit are my favorite live action spider-man suits in the MCU, but the final swing suit is my definitive Spider-Man in the collection.

4:12 Yes, the web pattern is supposed to look like this, but it still looks odd because they made the logo too small and legs too thin, making it look high on the chest. 0:02 On screen the logo was larger, had thicker legs, and was centered on the chest. The logo's outer upper legs touched the web line above and the lower legs were closer to the line below, which can be seen on the SHF and Hot Toys figures.

I like the costume on this figure but they messed up by making his chest spider logo too small and not filling in the gap between web lines.. makes it look like something is missing. Maybe they’ll get it right if they do a 2.0 version?

LOL your best skit in a while. Most people like me probably already forgot about Amazing Spiderman catching a cold, so that jacket was unexpected.
Apart from the toes not having articulation, I find it really annoying that Hasbro didn't put in any web or web holding hands with a figure widely known as the "Final Swing Spider-Man".
The revoltech spider-man design (Dan Slott suit) didn't inspire or influence the new red and blue MCU suit, they both were actually inspired by the shading of classic spidey comics and the way that the suit was inked to have reflective blue material. Best example is the Amazing Fantasy #15 cover and the way the blue gleams when light hits it.
Awesome review. I agree with almost all of your points, this figure is a masterpiece. The only thing I will say is I thing the fists angling down a bit is anatomically correct. When I make a fist it isn’t necessarily angled down but it just rests slightly angled. Keep up the great work Shart

The blue is hardly metallic and his elbows when bent are an eyesore; otherwise its a good-looking figure. I'm also glad that they made him at least a bit taller than previous MCU Spidey figs, they've always made them too short.

I like the size comparison to the other comic spideys, they look a bit bigger/older so this can definitely work as a younger less experienced Spidey in comic displays

This is a great figure but I have seen an alarming amount of people breaking it. I want to give this as a gift to my 5 year old cousin but if adult collectors are breaking this, surely children will to.
I seen this figure breaking for a lot of people. Breaking at the hip peg and the bicep. I hope mine will be fine.
I got two, both had both legs break, and one of them had the bicep snap. Terrible

I found the hip pegs twisting on mine a lot to the point that they had stress marks and felt like they were gonna rip off. Like they’re not hard abs and more soft, not sure if it’s because of the metallic plastic or what

"Final Swing" is a weak title for a new era suit, which is why I prefer "New Red and Blue" over it.

Just got mine today and sadly the right leg broke off while I was posing him around and I was excited about having this figure but now I have to either buy a new one and hope it don't break or get the figuarts one and hope that one scales well with the new mj figure. Now I'm afraid to buy the other 2 spidermen in case they break as well.
8:23 That's not the Infinity War head. That's the Homecoming 2-Pack head. The IW head is the one with the wavy hair that was also included with the Walmart MCU Spider-Man.
Unpopular opinion but I don't really like this suit. The blue makes it feel like more of a halloween costume imo.

The headsculpt is not right for me ,the face is fine coz Tom didn't age much but the hair on it ruins it for me .. if the had made new hair or added the IW 2 pack hair design on that it would have been Top-notch
UNPOPULAR OPINION(Hope somebody from Hasbro team takes up on this) : MCU Iron Spider "ARMOUR" needs to be redone on this body mould WITH REMOVABLE Iron legs component completely like how SHFiguarts does not like the 4 holes on his back and flimsy legs
I thought you'd mention how much better SCULPTED WEBLINES look!? Think these one's are a tiny bit thick but they're certainly MUCH better looking than painted lines.

I took an X-Acto knife and cut off a little piece in the back of the neck of all my Spider-Men That have that dumbbell joint and then use a drill to kind of sand out the hole and now all my Spider-Men can look up
Is it that difficult to have the ball peg and heads be universal so you can inter change and head with any figure?
