Hi, just a quick question, what dlc do you think is essential for arma 3 multiplayer experience?
I think no DLC is essential for the Arma 3 Multiplayer experience.
But, you won't be able to join games on the Tanoa nor the Livonia terrains without the Apex and Contact DLCs respectively.
Without those terrains, you will still have plenty of time to kill.

Nice video dude - some feedback might be to chuck the names of the mods/authors in some on-screen text just for ease of identification, and maybe some quick before/afters for some of them!
Also, do you know what you used to centre the scroll wheel action menu? Been looking for something like that for ages.

@@nannertime Literally just found that the scroll wheel menu is labelled as the squad commands menu as you replied haha. Spent ages in those options just assuming you couldnt move it.

Anyone know what the actual name of the "UI sounds 2" mod? I can't find it. Top result is DynaSounds 2 which will alter the other audio mods suggested in this video, which id rather not do
That is the actual name. If the mod is gone, just use Project SFX. That includes the same sounds

the ai in the end does a little slide when goes to crouch, what mod is that, looks smooth as hell

1. Going to the Arma 3 Steam Workshop
2. Go to Collections
3. Search "Sounds RDLC"
4. Select Arma 3 Remastered: Sounds RDLC

yes. the mod is called ACE. Or you can hide your HUD and check your magazine via the inventory

I think you're looking to increase the aiming deadzone. This is in the vanilla arma game options

7:40 Just because you don't know how to disable the HUD doesn't mean it's not a fucking option dude 🤣 If you actually looked in the options you can customise the shit out of your HUD from changing the colours to moving it around how you like it to disabling it completely. No mods required.. I love how people make mods for this game to add features that already exist like they're reinventing the fuckin wheel.. Just saying, Options->Difficulty-> hide HUD -> you're welcome. edit: sorry i commented before hearing all the features of the no HUD mod, turns out you lose functionality by downloading it as it removes the action menu too hahahaha.. You guys are too much 😂 I know you didn't make the mod but you obviously haven't explored the options either. Wouldn't it liiike be amazing if there was a way to remove the hud AND keep the game functioning, that'd be liiiike amazing. Bruh. That's my impression of someone born post-2000's. You dudes are going to ruin Arma for us old school gamers that actually know things hahahah.
Sorry you had to waste your time writing all that out to someone born in the 20th century like yourself. You missed the point that the mod has a hotkey to turn the HUD on and off, and thus keeping the action menu, giving it even more functionality than having to turn off every HUD element in the difficulty, or archaically clicking and dragging the HUD elements off of the screen then having to do it all over again if you want to switch back and forth.
You should check out the mod collection I linked in the description that describes these details and pay attention instead of cherry picking and enjoying the entire video as a piece.
Feel free to cope, but don't be an arrogant jerk while you do it.
@@nannertime Arrogance is the source of my entitlement as a millennial, so I am told anyway. I didn't miss the point of the hotkey, was more pointing out that you don't need the mod at all for immersion mate, also don't apologise for shit you're not genuinely apologetic for it's like when you say 'no offence, but' then proceed to offend someone lol.
You can't adjust the HUD on the fly as you suggested as you obviously still haven't checked out the option to do so. It requires a restart to change element positions or colours, my point was if you disable the HUD and keep the action menu you don't need to toggle the GUI on or off as the HUD is no longer an issue, your compass is an actual compass, your watch is an actual watch so HUD on or off means absolutely fuck all when you're pressing O or K as they are objects in your inventory, much like the map, if you remove said objects you cannot use them. So sure, my comment may come across as arrogance, but your response without even trying my suggestion is pure ignorance.
Not only am I arrogant, I'm also blatantly rude and unapologetic and I have no regards to other people's feelings because I just don't care mate, I'm not here to try to kiss your ass or be your friend just because you make videos on CZcams. I appreciate immersion in Arma 3 as much as the next guy but if you want immersion, turn off the HUD via the difficulty options. Hindering your ability to use a core part of Arma is detrimental to your immersive gameplay, having to press 'O' to toggle your HUD requires either moving your movement hand or your shooting hand away from its natural position, in a firefight where moving and shooting is necessary to survival one would think it might be more beneficial to simply have no HUD but keep core mechanics functioning. You know what else is a default option in Arma 3? having the HUD fade out on its own after a period of inactivity.

Don't get me wrong; I do enjoy your videos as a whole, I'm even one of the few that presses the like button even though I'm not one of your 800+ subscribers, bit rude isn't it. over 1,700 views but less than 100 likes - bunch of shit people on CZcams, I'm shit for many reasons, but I always like the videos I watch. When I see your stuff in my 'recommended' section, I make an effort to watch as I'm always looking for new mods in A3. Keep it up and don't engage with people that piss you off in the comment section. We're more than happy to start an argument and drag it out because that's what arrogant people do by definition, if you already suspected I was an arrogant piece of shit you should've kept it to yourself instead of engaging with me, enabling a response.

Nothing much, according to the world, we're the worst generation to ever exist because we're mostly aware of it and own it like it's a fashion piece. At least we have fun doing it though.
