    For Sambar
    Tubar dal 1/3 cup
    Tomatoes 2
    Green chillies 2
    Sambar onions/shallots 1 cup
    Turmeric powder
    Salt
    Hing
    Sambar powder 2 tsp
    Curry leaves
    water 2 cups
    tamarind small lemon size
    jaggery 1tsp
    Oil 1 tsp
    Mustard seeds
    Methi seeds
    Dry red chillis 2
    Rice
    raw rice 1 cup
    Til oil 1-2 tsp
    Curry leaves 1 bunch
    Pepper 1/4 cup
    Jeera 1/4 cup
    Dry red chillis 4-5
    hing 1/2 tsp
    salt
    turmeric powder a pinch
    Oil 1tsp
    Mustard seeds
    urad dal

    I find your receipes very tasty easy but I need to remain thin and I am pre-diabetics so I keep off all baths or use yesterday's refrigerated rice and it has known wonders for me

    Anandhi 4rm Chennai maa..Loved ur Saravana Bhavan type sambar sooo much maa.For Curry leaves rice,you add a small quantity of tamarind and a v small piece of jaggery maa it will help in reducing the bitterness of curry leaves(Just a suggestion maa, don't take it otherwise)Thank youuu😊Jai shree krishn..
