Hey. I downloaded Tekken cause I've been thinking of swapping to a keyboard for fighting games in general. And yeah, I also noticed that a lot of people have issues with this on P2 side including myself. Noticed people even on hitbox with proper sanwa buttons having issues. So it's probably just a motion that fingers aren't naturally used to. You still got some pretty good speed with Bryan there. I wonder if it's worth mapping attack buttons closer to D, that way you can reach D with your right hand index and then do the S-A with the dominant fingers. Thanks for sharing.
yes, you can do that but you can also bind extra movement keys with LS is the bind menu. So you can do H to LS right. Now you can use D and H to go backwards on P2. This is more comfortable than binding the attack keys closer to WASD
Hmm, but how does it works though? I doubt your keyboard has SOCD cleaning. So if you press and hold Back and then press Forward should't you just get last pressed input, so in this case forward? And you are getting neutral, right? So maybe the game itself is doing SOCD cleaning?
man i cant do it consistently no matter how hard i try, my middle finger is so long compared to my index so its so uncomfy for me to get consistent, i was thinking of switching keybinds but then my fingers dont get used to the buttons, im in pain D:
Is there a difference in how hard down you have to press either of the buttons? My backdash doesnt look as fluid and you can see the crouch animation as well...
yes, if you press too hard, your keyboard would take longer to bounce back and reset. Only press enough for the keys to activate and you can backdash a lot better
Aris was right this is cheating 😅 like on ps5 pad this is so hard bcs u cant hold left and tap right at the same time. Its impossible. And here left and right means neutral.
@@Secth_K yeah i thought it was just me... I miss many directions with it... ps5 dpad looks Just like ps4 dpad but then i installed tekken 7 and tried my dualshock 4 and its So much better. And ps5 has this glossy texture and its harder to do fast sliding motions with thumb. Shame we cant use ds4 with ps5. There is no reason it wouldnt work.
@@BlackPaperMoon18 I agree. Part of the reason I got PC version of Tekken. But you can find a cheap leverless controller for PS5. Just check if it works out of the box, some of them require additional converters.

PS5 pad is garage for tekken imo. The direction input's feel off.
