Look, as a fan, one must be patient. The game, when referring to success and how some clubs have dynasties, is all about accepting that the game is one of hills and valleys. We shared the 60s with your lot and Everton mainly, you dominated the 70s and 80s, we dominated the 90s and 00s, City have dominated the '10s. And here we are. Both LFC and United have been immensely successful, I'm not debating that. Yes, English football is more than 30 years worth, indeed, it is more than 60 years worth. I always listen to talk sport on the radio when I'm at work delivering pizzas, keeps me entertained and helps the hours go much quicker, especially when no games on :).
I'm a Liverpool fan and I'm gutted how things are going but he might be onto something, I'm pretty sure we have the most songs LMFAO!!!!!
I do have a few thoughts about why we aren't performing though and I think the key things that people are missing is by losing a Worldclass player of VVD's quality is the team confidence and the winning formula of how our team played, we have had to change the way we play by playing threw the middle more.
Confidence in backline and Alisson is gone, Robbo and Trent can no longer run forward at every opportunity knowing they can trust VVD, we also can't play as much of a high line which means we are further away from the goal :P.
Many of our long passes came from VVD so were able to overwhelm teams with pace on the wings much easier, wearing them out and winning tight games in the last 15 minutes.
In the short losing VVD had a massive ripple effect threw the whole squad and how we play, losing Hendy in midfield also affects how we play massively, losing VVD is basically like Barca losing Messi, that's the sort of impact it can have on a club losing one of the best centre halfs in the world! :(

most influece problem is our midfield, it hasnt played the same form dynamic like before. also you have to think that missing the natural centre halfs, we are poor in set pieces, hendo and fabinho are not the best headers, they are fine in midfield against short players but not in defence, also we dont have any threats in our set pieces cos vvd, matip , gomes missing there headers, how many goals clubs do set pieces i ask you?

Manchester City supporter here yes Liverpool can still win the title, people seem to be forgetting that we aren't as far into the season as we would normally be at this point, but to win the league the issue they will have is they need three other teams to start losing games, not just one. Liverpool are fine. They had an injury crisis but once they get their key players back, they will be stronger. They can turn things around cus they have a world class manager in Klopp. One criticism is that Klopp is so stubborn sometimes by playing his best midfielders as CBs every single game. Another one is the amount of excuses Klopp is making is a bit of a joke. I am afraid Klopp over the long term will turn into a Mourinho. My objective observation as a united fan.
