As a runner AND climber for over 50 years, Hobbs is to me, the most impressive multi sport athlete in history. His personality is very much that of a climber v. runner. Awesome interview.

I have watched past episodes, but I specifically came and watched this one after Olli shouted this episode out in his post race interview in LA yesterday. Hobbs is wise beyond his years. I imagine this discussion at 49:39 is actually an important characteristic of any high level athlete. I can sympathize with this to a degree but certainly not like any of these guys. I want to instill that type of behavior in my now young children. Is it just something you are born with or do you have any ideas of how to inspire this way of being?
Hobbs and Messi sounds like a cool poster but what about coffee club and Roger Federer?
Sounds like flagstaff could benefit from a few more tracks. Shocked the city, or privately, hasn’t built a some.
