This track is so godlike. Alot of different influences which i love. Overall reminds me of Mirrorthrone though which is awesome. Great to see some awesome American Black Metal considering there aint much these days besides Wolves in the Throne Room.

If you're digging the whole black prog metal thing, try the last 2 enslaved albums, they've got a similar thing going on.

This composition is just awesome (just as all their stuff is) ... that 5/8-time is brilliant, reminds me of some kind of "stumbling waltz". :-D
The only thing that makes me sad is: Why are Latin phrases, when found in Metal music, always that ... incorrect? Because I guess, here they are again. :-/ (Even That Death Metal band dealing with Ancient Rome, "Ex Deo", uses one horrible Latin.)

black prog metal? neat. I'm digging this so hard. One issue with the quality is the instrumentals sound so much higher quality and the vocals sound kind of muffled and pushed back. maybe that was the point? idk the cleans seem fine and mixed. regardless fucking killer.
